NON B Multiple - New Passport

Recommended Posts

I'm getting my new passport from the Embassy this week. My Non B Multiple (in my old passport) will expire at the end of this month and I plan to do a visa trip before it expires so I can stay another 90 days.

Do I need to have the visa transferred to my new passport before I leave and enter the country again?

Any help is appreciated.

Visas cannot be transferred.

You will show both passports on departure from the country. They will transfer the entry stamp from your old passport to the new one and stamp you out of the country in it.

The when you re-enter the country you will show both passports to use the visa in your old passport for entry. They will then stamp your entry in the new passport.

Awesome! Thank you for your response!

However I'll need the letter from the embassy, correct?

No --It is only required if there are stamps to be 'moved' by officers at an immigration office. You have no such stamps.

You just need the two passports.
