Featured Replies

I sent 10,000฿ with a company which cost me £230 they charge £1.50per £100 and about .05% above exchange rate.

What is the cheapest way to transfer money?

HiFX is free if over £3,000. Top rates as well. Only payment is 500 Baht at the receiving bank Thailand.

Halifax is £9.50 transfer fee.

If you have a Thai "Bangkok Bank" account you can transfer direct from UK account. You can also transfer from most high street banks to Thai accounts but fees vary.

There are also numerous "fx" services available online.

Western Union is also an option.

Always send in £ sterling for conversion at the receiving bank for best rate.
