It was the Democrats that were giddy about their prospects for a sweep of the House, Senate and electoral college. There was talk of Supreme court reform (packing) and abolishment of the filibuster in the Senate. You're projecting and expect the Trump administration to behave as Schumer promised the Democrats would. Now that the tables have turned.
