July 26, 20178 yr 1st shop Hardware chain - bought some 16 mm Poly pipe & do you think I could get a joiner for it - NO they had everything else but that ( & not out of stock) so I ended up with a "T" piece that I had to screw a cap on to it 2nd problem - Looking for a wall poster or book that has the Metric System in Thai or English for the young lad to learn from. Went to the best 2 big shopping complexes for this & to my amazement none of them had any (the only thing me wife found was a poster with the Thai system on it (no good for learning world measurements ) - So how do the Thais learn world measurements (Im guessing just from the school books they are given )
July 26, 20178 yr You need to hang out and/or associate with a different bunch of lads. Almost every Thai I have ever met is aware of and uses the metric system.

Yes I know they use Metric but wife & I couldn't find any reading material (Book or Wall poster ) on the Metric System IE; Conversions, even after asking at the counter So I had to go on the Net to print out an English version of Length/Volume/& Mass as there was none in Thai
July 26, 20178 yr 16 mm sounds like a 13 bar (high pressure) PVC pipe, blue color? The standard 8.5 bar pipes are 18 mm inner diameter. But still the exterior diameter should be 22 mm and I never been to a shop where they wouldn't have that. Exceptional.

I plan to put 200 mtrs on top of 6 mm fiber cement boards that will sit on my awning that covers my little cement above ground pool
