August 2, 20178 yr Since Pacific Cross ads are flashing on Thai Visa I thought I would ask for a quote. me 60 years old. Quote came online in real time. Standard Plan, 23,500 baht. 780K baht max. Maxima plan 68,340 Baht, 5 Million baht limits. I would be getting it for just a few years while waiting for my USA Medicare. Does anybody have any experience with Pacific Cross? Do they direct pay the hospitals as most of BUPA would or is it a pay then get reimbursed type of coverage? Any idea which hospitals accept them? Thanks

Some heart surgery and a few days in intensive care could be more than that.
October 11, 20178 yr Avoid. A friend of mine was with them for 2 years. He didn't have many good things to say about them. Just like most local Thai insurance companies, 99% offer a crap deal and when it comes to paying out.... I just don't even want to get started on that. Too many horror stories I heard. Best to go uninsured in Thailand, get treated at gov hospitals, or buy quality real insurance from non Thai companies e.g. Aviva, MHS etc.
