August 5, 20179 yr I have a grease gun, but I can't seem to find cartridges here. They sell grease guns here but not the cartridges. Do they just fill them up with grease manually? Can a grease gun that takes cartridges get filled up manually? Because that seems to be my only choice.

Little messy, but if you were worried about that you would not need a grease gun....
August 5, 20179 yr Cartridges, mai mee, looked everywhere. Tip, filling manually, cover your hands in liquid soap first, grease falls off your hands afterwards. That or use a dessert spoon.
August 5, 20179 yr Screw the tip end off.Stick the open end in the tub of grease.Pull back the plunger and draw the grease in.Make sure the plunger is locked all the way back before you let go of the plunger.Screw the end back on.Bleed and prime like you would with a cart.Sent from my iPhone using Thaivisa Connect
August 6, 20179 yr X 3, load your own. I'll have to try the soapy hands gig I was in Do Home recently & happened to see a grease gun with 1 cartridge of grease with it. Bought it just for the cartridge & man, was that nice to load.
August 6, 20179 yr After about the second fill of the cartridge, you should be able to fill it without getting any grease on your hands. Best tool to use is a flat narrow spatula, just borrow the wife's one from the kitchen - but a word of warning, don't tell the cook.
