Whenever I am out and about in Thailand, like all my fellow road users, I shall witness the line crossing phenomenon. The barriers are down, the train is due and the crossing chief is furiously waving his little red flag.

Asean and China to sign a framework of code of conduct

Asean and China are set to agree on a framework of a code of conduct that is “rules-based” with a set of norms to guide the parties and promote maritime cooperation in disputed waters during the Asean foreign ministers’ meet this weekend, according to a report in The Manila Times Online on Friday (Aug 4).

CARACAS (Reuters) - Venezuela's chief prosecutor was fired on Saturday and ordered to stand trial, less than 24 hours after a newly elected legislative superbody was installed with sweeping powers to strengthen President Nicolas Maduro's grip on power.

UNITED NATIONS (Reuters) - The United Nations Security Council unanimously imposed new sanctions on North Korea on Saturday that could slash by a third the Asian state's $3 billion annual export revenue over Pyongyang's two July intercontinental ballistic missile tests.

Narcos Season 3 coming to Netflix 1 Sept – watch the trailer here

Man falls to his death while climbing waterfall in Loei
