I have a 5 yr old Toshiba wash machine the old fashion kind that has a spinner. I need a repair person to tweak it up a bit. (too daunting for me...) Where could I get such a person?

Might be as cheap in the long run to purchase a new "old fashioned" washing machine ! Easiy found for a few 1000 Bht.

5 years is really not that old for a washing machine - but also do not know what he means by old fashioned - there has not been any change that I am aware of (except more front loading models available).

I suspect he means a top loading twin tub machine(separate wash/spin tubs)  which are cheaply and easily found.

Yes ideally a hint on its problems would help.

 

If it's a twin tub machine it may need a new 'drive' belt for the spinner.

 

Replacement twin tubs range in price dependant a lot on size.  Very small machines are around 3k. 11kg are up around 9k.  Brand is also a factor.
