Captain/Skipper for a 15m Yacht

 

You must have a Thai Captain Ticket and a Thai Engine Operator Ticket.

 

This is a full time job. We will be working (1) around Pattaya to Koh Lan, (2) down the coast to Koh Chang and the surrounding islands, and (3) across the Gulf of Thailand to Koh Samui and the surrounding islands.

 

You are expected to be on call everyday for 8-months (October 1 to May 31) and you will have 4-months of holidays (June 1 to September 30).

 

Salary is negotiable. The owner is from Canada and the yacht may be used for charters. 

 

Wouldnt it be better if the personnis not thai? I guess the person then have more safety training and experience [emoji16][emoji85]

It would better from many perspectives, but I believe very hard for a non-Thai to get the proper license
