WASHINGTON/HAGERSTOWN, Md. (Reuters) - President Donald Trump on Friday fired chief strategist Stephen Bannon in the latest White House shake-up, removing the far-right architect of his 2016 election victory and a driving force behind his anti-globalisation and pro-nationalist agenda.

LONDON (Reuters) - Veteran British television presenter and entertainer Bruce Forsyth, who appeared for decades on a string of Saturday night primetime shows, has died at the age of 89, the BBC reported on Friday.

Administrative Court held last hearing on Boonsong’s petition for stay of execution

The Central Administrative Court on Friday (Aug 18) held the last hearing on a petition by former Commerce Minister Boonsong Teriyapirom, former Deputy Commerce Minister Poom Saraphol and three other ex-commerce officials for a stay of execution of a Commerce Ministry’s order freezing their assets to compensate for the loss in the G-to-G rice deals estimated at about 20 billion baht.
