Easiest solution is just to clingwrap your suitcases on short haul or long haul domestic or international flights. If you think the 200Baht fee is too expensive, how expensive is a jail term for drugs that you did not put in your suitcase?

Now you beginning to see the very real dangers of having someone put something into your suitcase without your knowledge.

Think before you travel, it could just save your life. Yes this is a very, very serious matter.

Wake up airport authorities and security personel.

They used to be stationed at the entrance doors. I have not been to swampy for four years now and try to avoid it like the plague.

I normally carry two big rolls of clingwrap plastic with me, in case there is no service, then I do it myself. You just want to make it difficult to access your cases, so the potential thief looks for an easier target. All in the name of taking precautions.

Be safe out there.

There are about six stretch-wrappers on the departure floor.

If I have a check-bag I want to keep people out of I usually wrap it at work before I go.

You can't wrap your carry-on
