PM urges orderliness at rice pledging scheme verdict reading

 

BANGKOK, 24 August 2017 (NNT) – The Prime Minister has asked that all turning out to support former Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra during her trial’s verdict reading to respect the law and be mindful of the nation’s best interests with security officials stating they will only be applying routine measures during the reading.

Tak officials checking vehicles leaving province

PHUKET: -- Police have found no leads in the search for the tourist who fell out of a moving tuk-tuk in the early hours of Sunday (Aug 20), and have been unable to bring in the tuk-tuk driver to face charges for leaving the scene.

Export sector growing at fastest pace in 6 years

BANGKOK, 24 August 2017 (NNT) - Thailand's export sector in July expanded by 10.5 percent to 18.85 billion US dollars, reflecting global economic recovery. Exports in the first seven months of the year grew at the fastest pace in six years.
