August 26, 20178 yr Can anybody please recommend where to buy essential oils and probiotics in Bangkok?
August 26, 20178 yr Assuming this is a genuine post and not the start of a spambot thing where one newbie asks the question and others follow with all kinds of links (sorry, I am jaded), my first place to look would be Lazada.com, followed by AliExpress.com. For me, they beat the crap out of scrounging all over the BKK heat in hopes of finding what I want. If you want to buy them in quantity for resale, Alibaba.com would show you zillions of sources (I was looking at wholesale essential oils just last week) There are also lots of kiosks in Chatuchuk weekend market (BTS Mo Chit), in MBK Mall (BTS National Stadium), and scattered throughout Chinatown (MRT Hua Lampong). And lots of the BigC and Tesco Lotus Centers have one or two small kiosks selling essential oils and perfumes. Lots of independent pharmacies have stacks of probiotics on display, though I'm not sure about Boots or Watsons. Good luck. Edited August 26, 20178 yr by impulse
August 26, 20178 yr Go to any large Mall in Bangkok where Expats visit - Central World etc. - and walk around. If in a hurry, then go to the Boots Pharmacy and ask the Pharmacists (not the counter girls). They will either have them, or be able to tell you which stores in the Mall will have - if they know. But if you are new here and dont know, Thais are reluctant to provide no answer and will guess, and they dont make a point of knowing what other stores sell in the Mall. Be prepared to spend your time having a look around. 7/11, BigC, Lotus/Tesco, Makro stores sell Yakult etc. BUT - only buy them from a large store. I have seen them strapped on the back of delivery bikes at 7/11 stores, sitting inside very iffy cooling boxes with open lids. Get them from stores where delivered by cooled trucks.
