CCTV to the rescue of “red-faced” Chinese tour guide

 

At around 1:30am on august 29th, police were called after a Chinese tour guide had his bag stolen from a convenience store in Pattaya.

 

The incident occurred at a small convenience store just outside the Nova Platinum Hotel in Pratumnak.

 

The victim, Mr. Chih Shiang, aged 41 years old, had popped out of his hotel after feeling hungry. He had entered the store and was looking to buy some mama noodles. After picking his flavour and filling it up with hot water, he proceeded to the cashier desk, payed and left the shop.

Doesn't look easy to get the bag off the guy in the picture.

Me thoughts being a tour guide was a job reserved for Thai nationals...

He left it on the counter for 3-5 minutes...before realising he forgot it there...

The CCTV did NOT catch anyone of any skin tone, nationality, colour of dress or by any colour of hand.
