I'm thinking of getting a new phone say for about 10 - 12,000 Baht, 16gb or 32 gb what can you suggest please, are there any great buys around?

 

Also are phone better value here or in the UK (going for a visit soon)

Hi there. Spend a few Baht more and buy the Samsung A9 Pro. Best I ever had. Fantastic. Buy only at authorized dealer. Tons of fakes from China around. Check it out. Enjoy MS>

You are much more likely to find a bargain in the UK than here. But in the UK just like here you may come across grey imports that have no international warranty, so be careful.
