    Just like in the UK, 480,000 stateless people (effectively refugees) once given citizenship, will clog up hospitals making waits even longer, since seeing a doctor will now be free.

    So do the 483,000 long term residents have to apply for citizenship, or will they be contacted? Are these just people who have annual extensions to a visa? What about those of us who have Pemanent residency? Will we be granted citizenship?As for children born in Thailand with a Thai parent, they automatically have Thai citizenship!

    Possession of a gun or other deadly weapon in public (unless authorised) warrants a 10 year minimum jail sentence. if said weapon is used, regardless of the result, a death sentence is warranted IN EVERY CASE!!!!!!!!!!!. Only tough sentences can help to reduce the ever increasing crime seen everywhere today

    No boxes (ie 4l) Mont Clair seen in Buriram Makro recently , but both Mont Clair and Peter Vella are sold in 1.5 litre polythene bags. (Don't confuse it with washng up liquid.🤣)

    Of course,one has to have a Makro member card too!

    You can buy alcohol at Makro anytime during their opening hours (except no alcohol buying days) provided you have a licence to sell alcohol (ie you have a shop/cafe/restauarant/bar etc) and you buy a minimum of 10 litres. A licence to sell is available at amphurs and costs 300bt/year. The licence has to be seen by and recorded by Makro, a process that takes 15/20 minutes, before one can make a purchase.
