    All too commonplace of the last generation or more, even when most [if not all] supposed offenses have little association with the omni-present and draconian 112 policies. Archaic to say the least. It's become the convenient go to card for those particular circles of the old guard. Not related.....but I'd be curious to know how a "progressive" is defined here. Examples....??

    Those things aren't reasoned, as the establishment-oligarch circles look to secure the survival mode. What has been most apparent for years are the obvious [for some] distractions and misdirection that are part and parcel of Thai political theatre. Same as it ever was.

    Perhaps the rumours that are making their rounds of Thailand firmly associating itself with BRICS are coming to fruition. Will certainly be an advantage than hanging on to the dying Anglophone/EU model.

    Why not promote within. Instigate the ideals of nurturing and encouraging home grown talent. The only catch would be upgrading the educational systems and removing the general restraints that hamper any such progressive development.......and that's not gonna happen anytime soon. Never mind.
