I'm wanting to make a list / printout of all of my MP3 files. Does anyone know if there is a way to copy and or print all of the file names in a folder, or a utility program that will do this?

open the command prompt (run ->cmd)

go to the directory you want to list

type 'dir >list.txt' (no quotes)

Now you have a text file with the list of the directory on it

I found this one out online and tried it. It worked, but gave me a lot of extra info... file creation date, file size, etc. I'd like to find a way to get the file names only.

Try: dir /b/n/a-d > list.txt

If no good, try: dir /? and work it out for yourself!

Checkout Tracker it is programme similar

to the File Explorer in windows, but it has cut and paste facilities, which are sadly

missing in the Windows programme.

Great file name copier if you use the copt to clipboard section, then paste it into Excel or any spreadsheet. It puts contents into its own cell, then easy to drop into a database.

The CMD / Excel option works well, but I just tell Nero 7 to find everything on all the clusters here i.e mp2/mp3/wma/avi etc and list it, cause I am lazy to do it myself. Then work it out.
