Man Hits Woman Thinking She Was His Ex

The Pattaya Police was informed on 16th May at Soi 10 Pattaya Beach Road; that a woman was injured from an attack and requested police assistance.

Witnesses at the scene told the police that a woman had been molested by a Thai male aged around 20 years.

At first witnesses thought that they were a couple but when the attack got serious; they helped the woman and the man called a motorbike taxi and fled the scene. All that is known is that the injured woman is called “Su” and witnesses sent her to the hospital.

A while later – after the police radioed out the information; the suspect; Pitaya Yingyoochuen aged 21, was captured around Central Pattaya and taken to the station where he confessed to attacking the woman but he stated; “I thought it was my ex-girlfriend so I hugged her from behind.

When she slapped me; I got really angry so hit her back and fled when I saw that it wasn’t my ex”.

The police detained Pitaya and will wait for Su to come to the station to press charges on the man.
