wpcoe
What a teaser that report is. How did they clash? Did the officials wear plaid while the protesters wore stripes? Was there a blockade of the airport? Was there violence, shouting matches, silent protests? What?
jaidam
With this fuss about noise pollution from Suvarnabhumi area residents, I'm just wondering how the nuclear reactors will be welcomed in the lucky 4 neighborhoods.

Scott
This is such a good example of poor planning. Years ago the building of residential housing in the area of the airport should have been halted and land bought at that time. Secondly, once they make an agreement, they need to stick to it. I am also concerned about the lack of police enforcement which let them get so close to the airport terminal building and that they backed off. If there is some sort of terrorist threat--or if terrorists decide to take advantage of situations like this--it could have very bad consequences for all. I hope this gets resolved satisfactorily.
