Featured Replies

hi i'm from belgium 26 years old

i just got known iff you own a condo that cost more then 3 milion bath you can get 1 year visa

this is maybe a stupid question but iff you dont have such a big condo but you have 3 milion or more on a bank account

can you get a 1 year visa then to

thnx

They no longer issue those visas(but extend old ones though). Got stopped Oct 2006.

But at that time you could also show 3M Baht in a Thai gov. bank time deposit.

Cheers!

so no change for me to get 1 year visa without marriage or starting a busness

Hey, no new investment visas but; you can get a student visa if willing to study a bit of Thai (will not be full time). Or you can try at your home country Thai consulate(normally easier than embasies) to get a 1 year multiple entry non-O or B visa based on "studying culture/language" or "looking for business opportunities" or similar.

But leaving above out I think the one year visas are exhausted. The student visa seem like an ok option to many (for 1-2 years at least) and MUCH cheaper than the marriage visa :o .

Cheers!
