dennis13 Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 hello i'm belgium and only 27 so i can not get a multi entry visa for thailand. but i learn iff i should go to school in thailand i can get one. now the question iff i just go to a thai school to learn thai would that be enough to get the multi entry visa i really want to have. thnx
kriswillems Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 (edited) It depends on the embassy. Better call them. They are polite and helpful, but not very flexible. If you get a single entry visa (non-immigrant-O-ED) you can extend it over here in Thailand if your school is recognized by the ministry of education in Thailand. You would need a letter of your school to get the visa in Belgium. Most school only provide such a letter if you per for a certain period in advance. If you enter the country on a tourist visa you've to leave and go to an embassy abroad to change your visa type (apply for a non-immigrant O-ED visa). So, better try to arrange it in Belgium. PS. you would really need to study in the school, only use the school to get the visa might get you into trouble. Edited January 11, 2008 by kriswillems
