melonf
My mate in UK has just been told by Liverpool (UK) Consulate that 12 months Non-Os are now only available to those over 50 or those with Thai wives. Otherwise the best they can offer is a 7 months visa which must be followed by 60 days out of Thailand. Not sure what type of visa this is Edited February 5, 2008 by melonf
Crossy
It would be very interesting to know what Hull have to say on this subject, perhaps your friend could apply to them
apetley
The screws are definitely tightening aren't they. Just one more non-o to go in Oct-November, if they are still available! and that should see me through to my 50th and retirement extension. johniescfc
hull seem to be more eniant, but if this is a new rule then this might apply anywhere.birminham seem to be quite relaxed about multi-entry o too.
gharknes
How often did Liverpool give them out to anyone under 50 and not married before this ? I'm not sure anything has actually changed, the rules being quoted are what they always where. If this is true for Hull etc all it will do is encourage people to overstay illegally, not reaally a step forward is it ? gharknes
All he has to do is call Hull or B'Ham on phone and they will tell him. PS This is not a new rule, this has always been the rule, perhaps Liverpool just got a new boss or something...who knows.
