rono Posted June 15, 2010 Share Posted June 15, 2010 A family (husband farang, wife thai and kid thai) has land and house registered in the wife's name. They are going for a divorce and they want to sell the house, the father wants to take his son to his home country. The wife is staying here and could easily sell the property and keep the money. I advised my friend to put the house in his son's name or at least check if it was possible to do so ( the son is thai and 8-9 years old). can a 8-9 year old thai have property in his name? another way could be to give the son a share in the company and register the property in the company, again same question: can a 8-9 year old thai kid be a share holder?
