"Normal" ... meaning no one caught, until they can find some poor innocent bloke from Myanmar to kick and beat into a totally broken state, and admits to anything and everything, just to be left alone until the court case.

How, dare I ask, does one exercise extreme caution when walking past a concealed bomb?
Hold your breath?
Close your eyes?
Use a sim card with tracking for foreigners?
-
That seems beyond even the extremes of stupid and irresponsible. I have to think that there was either a malfunction like a stuck accelerator, a physical situation like passing out/falling asleep, or perhaps a total mental breakdown. It's hard to believe that the guy sent flying wasn't killed.
The malfunction was that his mother gave birth to an idiot.
Alas, the idiot gene is so widespread in this part of the world, things will not be improving for a very, very long time, if ever,

"Police are investigating the accident."
Now THERE'S a novel idea.
The final outcome of case will of course depend on who among all of those involved have the most influencial families. (.. and cash )

Business are closing and going belly up across Thailand there Chinese friends who shit in the street and have no manners do not help.bars and entertainment or even restaurants. These Chinese eat buffet at lodgings and Cheap noodles. The powers will tell you different all lies.
Now they want to make it even more uncountable and why do you require someone's bank number. You have no power to access it. It's quite unbelievable and unprofessional
"Now they want to make it even more uncountable and why do you require someone's bank number. You have no power to access it. .. "
I don't feel that my Thai bank account is secure, especially whilst the General is in power.
But access to banks in the home country? Once when I had to call the bank back home about a lost card, one of the security questions they asked me was: "What is your mother's maiden name?"
Add this to account number, home address and date of birth .. hey, we were very close to getting in.
"It's quite unbelievable and unprofessional" .... absolutely!

Since I opened a Citibank account in Australia, I've not paid bank charges for any transfers. I simply withdraw cash from Citi ATM .. no charge at either end ... and deposit some in a GSB bank for easier access. I go to Bangkok at least once a month, often more, so it's no problem at all. The exchange rate is also spot on.

Many fees collected by Thai Immiration are a scam, but who can corner and arrest them?

So barebacking little boys in the *** from another school is OK?
Please tell me I read all of that wrong, because it sounds to me that the only concern is bringing the school into this.
They don't care about the welfare of the students. They only care about their reputation which is their bottom line. Scum bags the lot of them.
"They only care about their reputation which is their bottom line."
Alas .. now their reputation is in a line up of little bottoms.

Surely no Thai could ever do such a terrible thing. There must have been Burmese involved. Just ask the illustrious General.

The real killers will never be charged. The evidence has been so corrupted, the truth has forever disappeared into the national sinkhole of lies and cowardice.

... another nail in his coffin, .. so to speak.

He threw it into "Drive". It's as simple as that.
Buses and vans in Thailand: deadly on the highways, .. not much safer when parked.
-
The only thing I would buy in Pattaya, if I didn't already have one, is a bus ticket to somewhere else.

They get very worried, when they cannot control EVERYTHING.

When you are the one who gets half your body smashed away by the blast of a bomb, your attitude will change, ... maybe.

A photograph of her father would be helpful.

We have endless speculations about this and that happening because the police didn't receive enough 'lunch money' .... the proverbial 'brown envelope' scenario etc.
Now I wonder what it was that Mercer didn't receive, .. for them to come up with this bullsh*t report.

Ao nang or phi phi if travelling to Krabi area. But Samui and Koh Tao are for the party animals ..
... and enjoy Krabi while it lasts.
For anyone planning on settling in Krabi, I wouldn't invest one single Satang on property there, until the PM's stupid idea of building a coal fired power station has been hit on the head and buried. Currently foreign consortiums are submitting tenders to build it.
You can find updates on the situation via groups on Facebook. Type in your search "No coal for Krabi"
This is serious for everyone in Thailand, and Krabi's future. They will need to cut through the coral to transport the coal in. With ships coming and going, Krabi as a beautiful resort is under serious threat, and will be a very unhealthy place to live.

Yet another reason not to marry in Thailand.

The Thai tourism industry needs an impressive outcome, that being that the murderers are dead, or at least forever incarcerated.
So even if there is evidence that would lead to an acquittal, no one will know about it.

"I just realized my 30 day expired a few days ago"
I doubt that very much.

Horrific
Most residents would have felt confident that such a modern looking building would have the necessary safety features, or if Thais, not even have given it a thought (along with their lack of need for seat belts)
Hoping for something to minimise loss of life. Sadly I can imagine more will perrish before the day is out, or the fire, whichever comes first.
(For ages I have been chewing over the possibility of buying a condo in Bangkok, but I am haunted by images of hopelessly tangled power cables throughout the city. ... fire ... )
