It's busy already on the roads, Son of my wife, left Chonburi yesterday evening at 6pm and arrived in Buriram at 9am. A trip that normally only takes 5-6 hrs took him 15 hrs.

Good idea, I also booked direct with them and as I needed to change dates because I developed an Eye problem, their contact centre via X was excellent. You only need your name and Booking Number when contacting them via DM

Do you have Twitter or now called X? Contact their service center via there, they are very good and can tell you exactly how much it costs.

Just go to IO a couple of days before you Extension runs out, say your leaving next month and say give me a 60 extension as you don't have enough time to apply for the Marriage extension and the under consideration date. Take as proof a copy of your E-Ticket. That should work, doesn't it @DrJack54

Apply on the Feb 3th, gives you an extra day. 31st January can't as money isn't seasoned enough

Better if @DrJack54 answers that. Question, how long are you planning on staying abroad? @DrJack54 what if he gets a re-entry permit,in his under consideration period? Is there a time limit to that?

Yep with your extension valid till March and you flying in April, that could be the case if you dont extend, you could always get a 60 day extension @DrJack54 Correct? But that would mean that you need to get a NEW Non-O in your home country and start a new, my IO requires for a NEW Marriage extension, witnesses and a Home Visit.

They installed it as separate controllers So 1 controller per pump, 1 for the Submers and 1 for the Garden Pump

Thanks. The knife switches are to my liking, but my wife is having hand problems, so the knife switch gets more and more difficult to operate as they need to be pushed all the top to the top or all the way down, depending which pump she wants to use, and both angles have a resistance which is becoming more and more difficult to operate for my wife.

I think that is a wise thing to do, you are ***** if the "under consideration date" extends. Mine took 45 days once, picked it up on the 46 day.

Yep it does. You are on a marriage extension. Ask your IO if you can do it earlier, our IO allows 45 days earlier, tell them about your travel plans.

Why are you leaving it that late, I did my extension 2 weeks ago and I was stamped with permitted to stay date the same as previously which is 11th Jan. you will not loose days doing it early. Ps: This is retirement, marriage would be the same, but you need to include the "under consideration" period

+1 But the trouble is, that the marriage route gets abused because of arranged fake marriages, that is why the increased scrutiny and the sending off of the documents to the regional HQ. Although the difference in paperwork retirement / marriage is not that much more, a fresh copy of the KR 2,the KR3 *original*, and for some IO's pictures of the couple in the house

+1 longest I had to wait was 45+ days. OP change to retirement that is what I did. Went to the bank at 10:30 and afterwards went to Immigration and got my year extension at 11:50. No agent, just doing the leg work myself. Costs approx 2000 THB (1900 for Immigration and 100 for the Bank letter)

Thanks for that, but I personally like the Isaac Hayes version or Dionne's version Isaac Hayes makes a movie out of a song like this one, a jimmy web song. You like it or you don't. He added a 9 minute dialogue to this song before the actually song started. Just IMHO, and an opinion is like an ....hole every one has one -

Thanks @Crossy Merry X-Mas to you and your loved ones Solar controllers in place the works. The install was done by a company here that apparently knows what they are doing, but they are not for whole house installs, but just pumps etc etc. I liked their Jack Knife solution, IMHO out of the box thinking. But the Jack Knife solution is becoming problematic for my wife to handle because she uses the Solar Pump to water a part of her garden.
