  1. They installed it as separate controllers So 1 controller per pump, 1 for the Submers and 1 for the Garden Pump
  2. Thanks. The knife switches are to my liking, but my wife is having hand problems, so the knife switch gets more and more difficult to operate as they need to be pushed all the top to the top or all the way down, depending which pump she wants to use, and both angles have a resistance which is becoming more and more difficult to operate for my wife.
  3. I think that is a wise thing to do, you are ***** if the "under consideration date" extends. Mine took 45 days once, picked it up on the 46 day.
  4. That complicates things. You are really balancing this đŸ˜‰ Good Luck
  5. Ours allows 45 days in advance. So different IO different rules
  6. Yep it does. You are on a marriage extension. Ask your IO if you can do it earlier, our IO allows 45 days earlier, tell them about your travel plans.
  7. Why are you leaving it that late, I did my extension 2 weeks ago and I was stamped with permitted to stay date the same as previously which is 11th Jan. you will not loose days doing it early. Ps: This is retirement, marriage would be the same, but you need to include the "under consideration" period
  8. +1 But the trouble is, that the marriage route gets abused because of arranged fake marriages, that is why the increased scrutiny and the sending off of the documents to the regional HQ. Although the difference in paperwork retirement / marriage is not that much more, a fresh copy of the KR 2,the KR3 *original*, and for some IO's pictures of the couple in the house
  9. +1 longest I had to wait was 45+ days. OP change to retirement that is what I did. Went to the bank at 10:30 and afterwards went to Immigration and got my year extension at 11:50. No agent, just doing the leg work myself. Costs approx 2000 THB (1900 for Immigration and 100 for the Bank letter)
  10. Thx @TronxII Something that is easy to switch. Push Button? "Solid state relay in a little box" No idea what you are talking about đŸ¤” My sparky even had great problems wiring the new switch after the old one died *Handle broke*
  11. Thanks for that, but I personally like the Isaac Hayes version or Dionne's version Isaac Hayes makes a movie out of a song like this one, a jimmy web song. You like it or you don't. He added a 9 minute dialogue to this song before the actually song started. Just IMHO, and an opinion is like an ....hole every one has one
  12. Thanks @Crossy Merry X-Mas to you and your loved ones Solar controllers in place the works. The install was done by a company here that apparently knows what they are doing, but they are not for whole house installs, but just pumps etc etc. I liked their Jack Knife solution, IMHO out of the box thinking. But the Jack Knife solution is becoming problematic for my wife to handle because she uses the Solar Pump to water a part of her garden.
  13. Wi Will send it to you in a PM, but it's more suited for Marriage, but of course can be tweaked for Retirement
  14. Yeah I misread, edited my post already removed that info Sorry
  15. Good one, Bank Book was required in ours, but as I was using a Fixed Deposit account it was immediately returned
  16. Any ideas? @Crossy TiA I am just looking for an easier switch for me wife to use
  17. but this is what i used to find that https://www.voidtools.com/
  18. Found it 72V 750W THis is the normal pump, but I think that is obvious Amazing program Everything đŸ™‚
  19. Oooh you have to wait for that, as it's completely boxed in *sheltering it from the elements as it's in the open* Will scour my PC if I can find a picture of it, I remember taking it many moons ago Will report back if I do TiA
  20. Solar Pumps both DC Pumps, both the Submers as the normal Pump The Jack Switch we use now is 32A 600V and works great, but you need to push it all the way up or all the way down and that becomes more and more difficult for my wife to operate No idea what Voltage and current for the pumps. No manuals were left behind
  21. We have on solar in the garden both a submersible pump and a normal Pump The guys that installed it, put in a jack knife switch to turn on each pump individually. I think a smart solution. Now these jack knife switches tend to break easily and it also gets more and more difficult for my wife, because of hand problems, to operate this switch. Is there another solution for this? An easier switch for example which she can turn without a lot of force? Ps: Upper position of the switch turns on the Pump, down position turns on the Submersible Pump and middle position turns everything off
  22. We went from spending around 100k a Month to around 20-40k and it suits us. I was planning on staying out of LOS for 6+ months this year but an Eye Diseases, still undergoing treatment at Rutnin Eye Hospital prevented that. *insurance is paying for that in case someone wonders*
  23. I just completed this quiz. My Score 70/100 My Time 67 seconds
