Question, is that Apple Store in Central a "real" Apple one or again one of the licensed shops. For example the Samsung Shop in Central isn't Samsung but it's run by Numchai the same for the LG one.
Edit: Found it, it's iStudio by CopperWired and they are an Apple Premium Reseller.

Obviously, having only recently awoke, they were on their way to the main street to seek transport to the temple for morning prayer.Disgusting behavior.
But I'm surprised about this "A mother taking her 11 year old daughter for a walk on Walking street at 4.30am"
Maybe
, but there are also could be a lot of other possibilities to consider

See post #3, an external for 1150 Thb, my guess (not sure (not really a hardware guy) but a new internal will be more expensive for a laptop)

@hml367
I have to admire you for trying.

there are 2 stores near the back entrance of Tukcom (ground floor) that sell the genuine stuff.

Do traveller's checks still exist?!
There's are ATMs in virtually every street corner in Asia since at least 15 years back.
I hope so, because I still have some worth 6000 Euro's (translated into real money that's 276.000 Thb
)

I had a talk with TP-Link yesterday and there is indeed a problem with their routers, 8970 and 8980 ,However, only with some dslams.
There is a new firmware coming in June, tentatively, which is going to fix it.
They will not make a big deal of it, if one wants to know one has to check the version number.
Seems like MJCM and Slip are among the lucky ones
Could be, but I am not touching that Firmware
If it works don't try to fix it
The connection I have with TOT (the 8970 is my TOT dedicated router and a Dlink is my 3BB dedicated one) is at the moment oke and not causing any disconnections. (online for 10 hours straight already today)
attainable max rate upstream 1236 and download 15592.
Snr Margin upstream 26.6 and downstream 14.8
Line atten upstream 7.9 and downstream 24.4
Errors (both 0)
But I will test the DLink (and I also have a ASUS) with TOT and see what they bring

and do not forget that it has already been superseded by Windows 8 so you will be in the same position again in a year or so.
Microsoft will stop mainstream support for Windows 7 on January 12, 2015. But the company will keep providing extended support until January 14, 2020.
Extended support, means that you'll still receive free security updates and please note that XP's mainstream support ended on April 14, 2009
Edit: // Added Ps
Ps: And can someone with more experience with Ubuntu explain to the OP how long the support for Ubuntu LTS and normal versions is ??

can you print emails from your mail app ?I have brother dcp- j315 wireless printer
the j315 is not a airprint printer, and this will cause "some" problems in some scenarios,
but if you are happy whith what the app does offer, then of course, this is probably a cheaper option as well.
Good question but I never tried that as I don't need to print them, only documents.
I checked just now and I could print my emails, but only the web version of my mail but i couldn't print the emails in for example the Gmail app (you could do it via a print screen but I don't think thats workable
)

I have brother dcp- j315 wireless printer and with brother app from the store I can print wireless from all my apple devices.
Also it works perfectly with my android phone and pc's.
The only thing is don't set your wireless security to wpa2 because then the printer will not connect to the wireless.

This is not some code Apple will ask you, but it's the lock code for your iPad which is set under
- Settings - Passcode.

What Tywais said, are pretty much your choices, choose one you are comfortable with !

Understood and correct it's certainly not mandatory, but that's why I wrote "just in case".
I always take more documents with me then needed anyway

I had one with me last year in Europe and the gladly accepted it complete with a copy of Kr 3. This was at an Embassy btw, with Thai staff helping us.

You should not need any financial proof for the single entry non-o. It is $90 for a single entry. There's no way I can get over to Canberra anyway, any dealings will be at the Melbourne office. So a single entry is $90? I can show enough money in an Oz bank and a Thai bank to qualify either here or there. As I only did the application on the 17th of this month, I will take all the paperwork we assembled then with me to Oz in case. Do you think this sounds like the fair bet for a smooth renewal? Or if it was you would you just wait till May sometime and do it when I get back at CW? Wife also mentioned the guy at Imm said I have to go back on the 3 month validity visa thing too, for a year, then get the yearly extensions as I am now, what very poor timing I have. Thanks for all the wishes for my Mum. She has struggled with Parkinsons for many years now, and at 82 I think she has just given up. Six kids, worked all her life to support her kids, she deserves a quiet passing.
Oz
You can apply for the new extension during the last 30 days of the 90 day entry you get from the visa.
There is no requirement for you to have a year on a multiple entry visa before applying for the extension.
Get an up to date Kr 2 at the amphur before you leave, just in case.

It could be that the drive just died, I had a problem with mine that it didn't want to read some discs, burning discs was no problem but reading was.
So I changed the drive (Oke I have a Desktop PC, so that's no biggie) you could opt for an external one
like : http://i.nvade.it/3eT
Edit: // Added Ps
Ps: You could try cleaning the drive ?

As said by "thepool" and others, you can easily do it yourself and you will save yourself some money which you can afterwards spend on your bride

He also asked the same question in the "ask the lawyer" section
http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/720381-landlord-entering-premises-what-are-the-rules/
And the lawyer answered with
Regarding when the landlord can enter the property and the amount of notice needed to be given should be stipulated in your lease agreement and if your landlord seems to be acting in excess of the arrangement that was agreed upon then you can point out the agreement to them. -
I had the same problem last year (http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/640418-starting-new-with-1-year-extension-of-stay-based-on-marriage/) and I think I will have the same problem again next year
But last year I just left, and before returning I applied and got a new Single Entry Non-O at a Consulate in Europe.
Then (after I arrived back in Thailand) went to Immigration to apply for the 365 Day extension of stay, the only "hassle" was that I needed a Witness (only needed when you apply the 1st time) and the affirmation of freedom to marry (fortunately I had a scan saved on my PC) but all in all it was smooth sailing. (Note: This was Jomtien Immigration)
Good Luck and sorry to hear about your Mother !

Kor Ror 3 is a shiny piece of paper what you get when you got married and Kor Ror 2 is an Amphur document with the details/names/dates signed when you married and thus recorded on your Thai Marriage certificate.
You can get a current print out (Kor Ror 2) for around 20 THB from the Amphur. (only of course AFTER you got married)
Example Kor Ror 3: http://stuckinthailand.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/Kor-ror-3.jpg

There used to be a guy posting on here with the nome de plume Cruze.
One disaster after another and poor service from his dealer he sold it and bought , I think, a Honda!
If it is shiny and cheap with 0% finance some people will buy it.
Reading the title I thought he was back but now with the name ChinaCruze
