Understood,
but do run scans on your pc with these programs, as sometimes a Virus scanner doesn't detect everything.

I think the problem with the shortcut would be that you would end up on the wrong side of the road along the railway.
What could be and option is this, but that also involves 2 U-Turns if coming from the 7.
I always take this route when traffic on Klang and Sukie is packed.
Yes, you would have to come back onto SSCC before the railway road, I'm sure there is 1 or roads before then...
Maybe the one next to ChokChai home Center ?? I havent tried it !

There is secure car parking at the border, but I doubt it that it will be cheaper then the 100 Thb you where paying at the Laos border.
Maybe a good idea would be to find a guesthouse in Trat and ask if you can park your car there for the week and then take a minibus to the border.
Good luck

Thanks for the Mum Aroi one at the end of Naklua Rd looked it up and it seems quite good.Another vote for Preecha in Ban Amphur plus they recently opened one in Bang Saray.
In Pattaya I would probably go for Mumaroi just past the fish market in North Pattaya
I'll give it a try and I will report on any I find that are OK.
I believe there is also a Mum Aroi on third road coming from Klang going to North near the first traffic lights.
