For ed visa, need 90 days report for free?
Nope, when you have an ED Visa, you have to pay 1900 THB every 3 Months (90 days) to immigration because you need to renew your extension of stay.
Only when you are on a extension of stay (like married to a Thai or Retirement) then the 90 day Report is free.

A search did not spew up anything good, anyone know any treads on here about the current procedure for a Thai based extension of stay based on marriage.
The 400k one. I am looking for reports of how long it took and what was involved. I have been told they want pic of wife etc in the bedroom, <deleted>?
Not the Non imm O issued abroad.
Unless I missed it, this is not what I am looking for. http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/3139-useful-immigration-information-visa-descriptions/
This will get you started for the paperwork needed
Ps: This is Jomtien / Pattaya. Other offices could have other requirements but you can use this as a guidline

Check their web-site.
Believe visas are only available to those resident in the UK.
I am not sure, I think they only will not mail back to Non UK postal addresses, better ask.
A friend of mine (Dutch) has been in contact with Hull about applying for a Multiple Non Immigrant O (but he is going in person)
Here are some quotes of email responses) from the Hull Consulate.
If you apply Thai visa with us at The Royal Consulate in Hull you don't need to translation back to English we accept Thai version. You also can make an appointment with us and you will get visa as the same day if you come to see us in person (take 30 mins to process) -
It means that someone posted a web link to another commercial forum and a moderator has removed that post because it is not allowed here on Thai VisaLink to commercial forum removed.
what does that mean?

A bit offtopic but is also about TM forms what is the difference between.
TM 18. Application for Substitute of Certificate of Residence
and
TM 20. Application for Substitute of Certificate of ResidenceIs the Tm 20 used when you have lost your Certificate of Residence and want a replacement ?

In Thailand I suppose you could ask a law firm to handle it, unless there's a private service out there.
I think any translator can handle this for you (mine did)
4 Documents including Translation, stamped at MFA (express fee) and stamped at Embassy 11.000 THB, saved us going and staying in BKK for a couple of days

Can we please have a Pinned topic about overstays as it seems to happen more frequent then ever.

Yes, the registration has to be done at the Thai embassy in your home country. In addition you will get there the legalisation stamp for your document. This is basic requirement for any acceptance of your document in Thailand. You could get some problems since your document is some years old already because the embassy reserves the right to do an autenticy check before the put any stamp on it.
Hope for you all goes well.
If the document is already a couple years old, can't you get a fresh copy at any Municipality Office ??

So the score is now (Can we have a Poll please)

I always report a few days early just in-case the rules change and I need to get other documents in which case I have the extra days in hand to get them.
I also avoid Mondays and Fridays as allegedly these are the busiest days.

There was one near the corner of Soi Buckaow and Soi Diana. Not sure if still there
I use a guy on Soi Buakao a bit before Diana Estate (coming from Pattaya Klang), I am always pleased with his work

(I am assuming that you have a Multiple Entry Visa)
If you go this early you will loose approx 21 days, it's up 2 you what you want to do !
You can go again (a couple of days) before the visa expires, but again up 2 u

Ps: If it was me I would do the border run on 6th or 7th of July (to squeeze the max out of the visa)

Docs required
<snip>
Proof of Residence, like for example Lease, Electricity Bill, Phone Bill
Chiang Mai immigration doesn't require that one.
As you see different offices, different rules. In Jomtien it's required.

Ps: It was 2.5 months ago (maybe it has changed in the mean time

Hijacking thread slightly but similar topic..
Normally I am on a Non O marriage but didn't renew this time back in UK as I have another short contract beginning on 7th July. So I came in on the 30 day visa exemption, which expires on 6th July !! Is it really worth paying for a 7 day extension at 1900 baht, or just pay the 500 for a 1 day overstay ? Would it really affect any future visa applications, bearing in mind my passport is nearly full and due for renewal..
Thanks and sorry to jump in but the Title caught my eye.
Don't think it will effect future visa applications, but if you overstay, you will get a stamp in you passport which says that you have overstayed, and when immigration officials (for example when applying for a extension of Stay) scrutinizes your passport they will notice it and could start asking question.
If it was me I would pay the 1900 THB for the 7 day extension, but because your passport is almost full, Up 2 You

Free beer at a Carabao concert? Whenever playing near us there are always fights, stabbings or the occassional shootings. With free booze I'd imagine it could be carnage!
Sent from my GT-I9003 using Thaivisa Connect Thailand mobile app
Those are at outdoor concerts in the past. This will be more controlled being indoors and most likely mostly farangs because of the price of the tickets.
I had the same thought as apetley, I used to go to the Open Air Carabao concerts in Surin (during the Surin Elephant Round) and that was always fighting etc, after that, Carabao refused to play there and instead went to perform in Tawan Daeng. So it's a good thing that they perform at the Hard Rock hotel.

Grocery store stamping food with a FUTURE date
in Pattaya
Posted
@Rabc
What JT is saying (I Think) is that they stamp it's packed with the date of Tomorrow (and not as it should be the date of Today) and thus make the shelf life 1 day more.
