A Shame, as I liked it when I had to be in BKK and it was an affordable place to sit and drink some beers!!!

yeh, you are right! my bad, I just read thru the visa progress and see that it going quite smooth! forgot to consider the leaving.
Thanks again! I will think about these 2 options again.
The Visa is easier to do as your not required to have a lump sum tied up in a Bank Account and don't have to go to immigration with a 6" (exaggerated) stack of paperwork.
-
thank for useful detail, seems like this way is much easier than report to immigration every 3 month.
Sorry Yarinda,
I think you are mistaken on this
It takes for me from leaving home, going to immigration, doing my 90 day reports and getting back home around 45mins - 1 hours.
But on a Visa Run, I leave home around 6am and will be back around 3-4pm.
So for me the 90 day report is way faster.
Ps: I am only comparing 90 Day Reporting with 90 Day visa runs
PsPs: Don't forget, a lot of Immigration Office also accept Mail in 90 Day Reports. (so it is only a trip to the Post Office)

They prey on people who don't know and even then I am surprised that they are not charging them even more then the 30 THB they are asking!

Something what Google is doing for years and years with Gmail.
I don't like it, but it seems if you want free email you have to cope with it

It's useful while back in Europe.
Positive : You can curse some over there in Thai and they don't know what you are on about.
Negative: They think you lost it completely and your a candidate for the Nut house

You don't have permission to access "http://booking.airasia.com/Search.aspx" on this server. -
wow, super-friendly isnt it... I would have thought that a telephone number would be more useful
No can do , because that has only 10 digits

a) SHOULD READ..... 60,000baht per month, lump sum of 800,000b OR A COMBINATION OF THE TWO.Alternatively you could get a 12 month multi-entry non-O from Hull and you could stay up to 15 months here without the need to get a retirement extension from immigration. That would give you plenty of time to see if you like it or not. You'd need to do a visa run every 90 days. To qualify for that visa you need;
6) Visiting Thailand as Retired Person aged between 50 and 64 years
Evidence required:
a) Copy of Bank Statement showing income of minimum £1200 per month or lumpsum of minimum £20,000
No, that is for a retirement extension here, above is for an O visa from the UK.
And it's 65.000 THB and not 60.000 THB

There is humidity in the air it makes the weather feel more extreme
then it may actually be for example if it is 40 Degrees and there is
40% humidity it may feel like its about 35 degrees but with 70% humidity it may
feel like its 45 degrees that is because the air is denser due to the presence of moistureSo my guess the one with the Higher temperature but lower humidity is cooler, but I could be wrong

I'll bet they issue you with a double-entry Tourist Visa.
Once you get your "6 month (two entries) Non-O visa" please post a scan (with the personal details hidden), a visa of this type is definitely not normal.
^^ That is what I reckon will happen.
To my knowledge 'O' Visas are for a 12 month duration.
Welcome to the Thai expression ... Same but Different ...
.
David48,
you also have single (or double or triple) Entry Non-O visa, each entry is valid for 3 Months, so nothing strange about that.
For example: I will (when I am in Europe) be applying only for a Single Entry Non-O (Marriage) because I don't need the Multiple and when back in Thailand, will go for the Extension of Stay based on Marriage and the Single Entry is more then enough for that.

My Guess it's for the Thai ID Card that's 13 Digits

You don't need any to show any reservation for a holiday.
This completely depends on the Embassy where you are applying !!
Some require even insurance (which must be valid for the entire trip)
My advice would be, talk to the embassy and ask what the requirements are.

Yes, I did a search. That^s how I got here. It's just the post up that worried me.
Understood, maybe a good idea to contact the guys at Savan Vegas and ask (but my guess is, that if your paperwork is in order, you should be able to get it)

Office hours usually 8:30 - 16:30 (with Lunchbreak 12:00 - 13:00) and the document name is Kor Ror 2
Kor Ror 3 is the shiny document

^ Hi.
Question did you do a Search in this Forum ??
There are 100s of post where people (also recently) have gotten a Non-O Multiple at Savannahket without any difficulty (when your paperwork is in order)
Start here: http://www.thaivisa....th-savan-vegas/

Can someone give the definition/requirements of the "o" visa please?
OP, have you tried ringing the Thai consulate in your capital city? Ive spoken to them in Adelaide and he was a great chap to talk to.
'O' Visa if for those 'O'ver 50 ...
Can applied from outside Thailand.
No requirement for marriage.
Must show some money in the Bank.
Options are Single, Duel and Mutiple Entry
Maximum stay is 90 days ... then Visa Run.
.
Haha! What about those under 50?
People under 50 are only able to get a Non-O if you are married to a Thai or taking care of your children for example
- other activities (Category "O") as follows:
to stay with the family, to perfrom duties for the state
enterprise or social welfare organizations, to stay after retirement for
the elderly, to receive medical treatment, to be a sport coach as
required by Thai Government, to be a contestant or witness for the
judicial process.

Maybe this ??
And these for Flickr <-> Dropbox
Are those actually going server to server? Perhaps sever to intermediary to server (yet never going back to your pc)?
On the MyBackupBox.com it says
Never install a thing! No plugin, scripts, or any nonsense to worry about. Manage everything from our awesome web interface.
Automate and scheduleEasily create schedules to handle transfers when you're not around.
So my guess the Box thing doesn't need your PC as intermediate.
Also the other seem to do it like that (except wappwolf seems one way only Dropbox -> Flickr)
Polling PeriodPersonal Recipes check for new Trigger data every 15 minutes.
Some Recipes have “Quick Triggers” that will run as soon as they receive
Trigger data. Quick Triggers can be identified by a lightning bolt icon

I am not sure I understand? Why would you open things up so people can easily discard your service?
Anyway, my question is just about if people think you are going to be able to simply copy a file from say drop box to google drive one day. In fact, I would think this ability would be a great marketing tool for them to get clients. So, teaming up like this may be a sort of natural thing to happen, or perhaps not? That was my question
I've installed the apps for Skydrive app and Google Drive on my PC and can drag and drop standard files from one to the other. Couldn't get a doc made on web Word into Google nor a Google gdoc onto Skydrive. Haven't tried hard though.
Sent from my Nexus 7 using Thaivisa Connect Thailand mobile app
Question if you drag and drop between SkyDrive and Google Drive, how do you do this.
My guess is that if you do that the doc comes from SkyDrive into your PC and then gets uploaded from your PC to Google Drive ? Am I correct.?
I think the OP wants to know if you can directly (in the future ??) move or copy data from the one to the other without using a PC (without installed apps) as intermediate.
But I could be wrong.
