  1. Approx 4,5 THB per kWh thus around 18 THB per day. To actual find out how much your pump costs per day, you need to get a current electricity bill, divide the total amount on there by the total kWh used, you get a price per kWh and then multiply that price by the kWh you found with your smart meter. But 2 more things to clarify. 1- Electricity price is on a sliding scale so the more you use in a month the more expensive it gets. (Prices listed are not TOU) The 3 prices are 0 - 150 kWh = 3,2484 THB per kWh 151 - 400 kWh = 4,2218 THB per kWh > 400 kWh = 4,4217 THB per kWh 3- The Price of the electricity (listed under #1) is not the only factor, what you also have to add is VAT (7% at the moment), Ft (Fuel Surcharge which will increase a lot in January) and the Standard Service Charge. Hope this helps a bit
  2. So January will be an expensive month, first electric going up (a lot) and now also Diesel with 5 Thb per litre.
  3. I can tell you tmrw when I am behind a pc, what figures do you want?
  4. This is how the current discount system is set. (Please note, this discount will stop in Dec 2022)
  5. And you even got a discount (not negative though) if you use less then a certain amount, but unfortunately that will definitely change.
  6. Yep I suspect 20 to 60% increase (60% in the last scenario where the Ft rise to 2.2 THB per unit)
  7. Discount on the Service charge, but a double digit increase on the Ft (Fuel surcharge) will increase your bill at least 20-60%
  8. 5555555555555555 Hopefully our Real Solar is underway soon, so I am hoping yes maybe even lower. But that said, I am now sincerely doubting if we not 1 go should go for Hybrid + small ESS, but the limiting factor is SWMBO
  9. Last month I said this, today our bill came, and we used 106 Units for a total price of 410.91 THB (inclu the Ft Discount) Previous month we used 155 units so this month we used another 49 units less.
  10. When I took a ...... load of different medicine (personal use, but 2 years supply) with me from Europe to Thailand. (This was prescription drugs ONLY) I had the following 1- Letter from Doctor 2- Letter from the Medical Board that the Doctor actually is a Doctor 3- I took that letter to the Minister of Foreign Affairs 4- I took the letter from MFA to the Thai Embassy and they stamped it. It was a bit of running around, but upon arriving in Thailand they started to make a fuss but when I produced the letter from the Thai Embassy they let me through NO hassle. Maybe a bit over the top, but it worked for me.
  11. If your frugal enough yes, but normally that is nearly impossible to stay under 50 Units a month 40W Fan used 12 hrs a day = 14 Units per month 50W Light used 6 hrs a day = 9 units per month 350W Rice Cooker 1 hrs a day = 10 units per mont That is 33 units already (only) And not talking about the Water heater (shower / pump) etc etc etc https://www.rapidtables.com/calc/electric/energy-consumption-calculator.html
  12. What! that is a very big increase over the 93.40 Satang which it is now for users who use a lot of Electricity (over 500 Units)
  13. Only the ones that practice it in Soi 6
  14. It's a Gaur which is https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gaur
  15. Care to share the reviews? Maybe I can convince my wife that way to go for the MG or BYD
  16. Yes, ONLY not for the Aircon, but will change the Fridge one as I believe it's recommended not to have the Fridge on a RCBO, but that said I never (in 2 years) had an issue
  17. But I must say in our current house the Fridge is also on a RCBO circuit and never had an issue fortunately, will change it one day The only one that is not RCBO in our current house is NO RCBO is for the Aircon only (and that failed (the aircon that is) recently (Gecko ingression ???? )
  18. What about the Fridge where the Ice Cream is stored on separate circuit and NOT RCBO and the rest on RCBO circuits?
  19. I also have a prostate problem (every 3 months check-up in Bumrungrad) but strangely when I am driving I don't have any issues and get more focused the longer I drive. (don't over do it of course)
  20. Don't get me wrong I am totally not against EV's I am the one who is pushing my wife to an EV as for us it would be the perfect solution 1- Solar charging at home 2- mostly short trips (10-100km) 3- Don't drive often I have to trick my wife in going for a test drive which is proving very difficult, and when talking about EV's she is always going on about that Ora Goodcat (because of the pink colour one she saw) and that is not one I want, I am going for either the MG ZS EV or the BYD Atto 3 those 2 will benefit us much more. If it was up to me a Deposit would have already been paid but it's not up to me alone ???? We do, we have given our Old Car (2nd) (ICE) to our Daughter in BKK and thus room available.
  21. That stuff Works with a lot of critters, we use the liquid version for our pest control under the house. Strangely I tested it once on a spot were a lot of geckos gather (something like a Bar in Soi6 Pattaya ) and sprayed some of that Chaindrite in one area and they seem to avoid that area. No explanation for it or maybe it was just luck who knows.????
  22. That is not a question for my wife, if it was me I would in 1 go from Buriram to Pattaya (4xx KM) but as I am going with the wife it's every 1hr please find me a toilet 5555555555 So for us (we together) EV would be perfect, but for me alone an ICE or I would need an EV with a 600km range one. (but that is not going to happen (max budget approx 1-1,3m))
