He is NOT a optham.... He is a real eye doc and also works in the Government Hospital and as you know most of those Docs have their own clinic.

I have irritations in my eye I am seeing this eye doc and also the Eye doc in Bangkok Hospital. They both give me Eye Drops. The Clinic gives me this and Bangkok Hospital gives me VigaDexa. Bangkok Hospital says that I can use the Eye Drops from the Clinic all the time, but VigaDexa (as it is much stronger) only a couple of days and then I have to stop and that is what I am doing. So that is also why I say it's a generic Eye Drop. I am going to Rutnin in the next weeks or so (together with my visit to Bumrungrad) to see what they think. Or maybe go to Bumrungrad for the Eye doc as well because it seems that the Eye Doc from Rutnin also works in Bumrungrad.

Doubt it, I see they take it out of the Carton, and when you get it's sealed but the assistant removes all identifying marks from it. Problem is the other Eye Clinic I go to is 160km's away

Ps: It's a 80 km trip to go to the Clinic, so that is why I try to find them locally.

The Eye Clinic I visit removes all stickers etc etc of the Eye drops before giving them. They also charge around 200 THB for this bottle which I guess is just standard Eye Drops So can someone identify these Eye Drops. TiA Ps: The Bottle itself is white, and the Cap is yellow(ish)

Don't close the account. I would leave in the account something like 10k THB and it will stay open. If less then that (I forgot the exact amount) the bank will start to withdraw money (service charge) from it and when it reaches 0 it will close the account. Why Not close the account, you never know maybe in the future you will want to use that account again, and opening new accounts is only getting more and more difficult

I think his branch is the culprit here. Maybe a good idea for the OP to go to the main branch opposite Soi 6 on Central Road (if that branch is still there)

Oke understood and sorry to hear about your troubles. My branch most certainly isn’t that difficult. One remark though have you thought how immigration reacts to you mid year changing banks? and I guess for renewal you would still need to deal with your old bank to get the full year statement (for example 3 months from BBL and then 9 months from SCB).

I have no idea why you say the 12 month statement and bank letter are extremely difficult to obtain. I recently got a 6 month statement and the bank letter within around 20 minutes. The 1 year statement takes 7 days as it comes from the head office Maybe it’s your branch that is causing the difficulty?

And do a test transfer with like 10k Thb to make sure that all the info is correct if you haven’t transferred to the account at BBL yet.

Would the Thai Authorities check? As they require those references. I most certainly don't think so.

I can recall a member a couple of years ago used a taxi to get to the airport from the border. He made it just in time to catch his flight. Maybe that is an idea if you’re pressed for time.

I think they know who is on overstay, but overstayers don’t file 90 day reports or when they move addresses don’t let immigration know where they are living now is my guess.

After reading the Embassy pages it seems that you have to go it to them for the affirmation. this document then will be translated and legalized I am totally not familiar with the British embassy but their webpages seem to be pointing that way. When I got the affirmation of marriage at my Embassy, I needed a recent statement from the last municipality (in my home country) where I lived before I moved to Thailand. On that it said “single”.

What I understand is that the Thai Government wants the 2 references when getting the affirmation of Marriage from the British embassy. The affirmation needs to be Translated into Thai and then legalized by the Thai ministry of foreign affairs before you can get married at your local amphur. When we got married the Amphur provided the witnesses (we told family and friends in the evening when we had a dinner organized for them (surprise surprise) Just type in the names of your child hood friends and where they used to live I doubt that they will check..

But NOT if you go to Embassy because there you have to book an appointment to swear the affirmation of marriage at the British embassy in Bangkok and thus IMHO witnesses statements are not needed.

Same here, was required when I did my renewal last month. But again different IO's different rules, but I also have noticed that even when I gave them everything (re: Passport Copies) they still made some other pages copies. So Last time I photocopied all pages (relevant to Thai Immigration) and gave them that. Pages I left out were for example Cambodian Visa's or pages with only Cambodian Entry Stamps etc etc.

I would add to #3, on the morning before going to bank add some money (or withdraw (but make sure it stays above 800.000 THB) to the account so the Balance is updated. And thus also update your Bank Book at the same time also #4A. Please note that the Balance of the 6 Month statement is NOT the balance from Today but from Yesterday. #4C Also include last 90 Day report Card and Tm30 if you have it
