Maybe buy one of these https://www.lazada.co.th/products/20-kanto-kt-pro-20-i3681392119-s13901629335.html They can spray quite a distance. You buy a can of insect killer at local hardware store and mix it in with water. Edit: We use this stuff https://www.lazada.co.th/products/chaindrite-30-60-30-i2735675794-s9920579410.html

I looked at them, but I decided against them as a) a bit expensive b) I could not find what protection they have (anti-islanding for example).

Additionally: I could add a trailer to the Camper of course to increase the load, but 3 problems with that. 1) Not many camper van rentals do have towbar. 2) As we then would exceed 9m many pitches won’t accept us. (Strange enough) 3) I have to go and rent a trailer for all those weeks which isn’t exactly cheap. thx

I have a normal European BE license which allows me to drive a car up to 3500kg and I also hold a Thai car license. we would like to rent a campervan in Europe for a trip of around 9-10 weeks. Now I thought to get a “truck” license here and be able to rent a 4150 kg Camper van instead of a 3500kg one. The length of those campervans and the overal size are the same as the 3500kg ones just you can load more stuff. ((I have already lots of experience driving such a camper van) Do you think it is possible to get a Truck license in Thailand as a Foreigner? I will do the test and take lessons of course so I am not going to use a “facilitator” to get me the License. TiA ps: I know truck driving is a job reserved for Thais, but I am not going to drive a truck here just get the license (getting it in my home country is not an option as I am not a registered citizen anymore)

Mine says issued 2012 and expiry 2024 so next year and that is correct. i renewed mine 5 years ago just after my birthday, so it would be valid for almost 6 years.

The picture they have of our house is from this year (2023) because the neighbours house (to replace the old one) they only have started building this approx 1 month ago and the roof is only on since 2-3 weeks and that is already in the Image.
-
Then we are lucky (maybe). Why? Because from that Angle the guys were looking they only can see the Panels on the Wall and NOT the panels near the House. So for them we only have 3 panels

Why do it the hard way? They can do it with Google Maps Sat view, and my guess they will have access to more detailed pictures then we have.
-
Just a simple camera phone.. Sorry to disappoint you ????

A drone to check that we have Solar Panels? (They can do that via Google Maps Sat View) May I ask, why If the local PEA has a drone, did 2 guys walk all the way from the road to where the panels are visible and take some pictures of the Panels

Same in the Condo we lived (build in 2002) which had Sprinklers in every room and smoke detectors. All cooking was done on Electric (and not gas). -

May I ask where does it say they were doing that and that was the cause of the fire? Electrical Short would be my guess. -
Mirrors absent on motorbikes, is this a 'thing'?
MJCM replied to notrub's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
A couple of years ago we rented a Motorhome back in my Home Country, and OMG was it difficult (at first) to only use the outside mirrors as they don't come with a rear view mirror. -
Have a look in this thread Approx 450k (he doesn't get money from PEA for excess energy, but he also can't export (got an electronic meter))

I think it has to do with his L plate. Maybe his instructor thought this would solve the problem for him not looking into the mirrors ???? -
If we are getting a new Meter I couldn't care less what SWMBO says but then a 15kW ESS will be on order (will give us approx 9kW (max charge 80% max discharge 20%) of usable energy) that should make a big dent in the BILL as well (as well as in my Bank account
-
They are always making promises to improve it but nothing seems to happen. Our (current) very Basic setup is only 2 x GTI's 6 panels and some Solar Cable. It doesn't generate much but it helped (some other energy saving measures as well) to decrease our Bill from almost 300 Units 5 months ago to 58 units last month.
