  1. Read here: It has to do that the Forum Software is re-indexing. Will take a while before it's done
  2. Maybe this helps (for China) https://www.hiddenchina.net/web/eng/reisen_china_trips/self_drive_tours_own_vehicle.html
  3. You could be right, but that is so .... technical and I think when you go to Immigration and say I want to extend my permission to stay I think they will look at you like ????
  4. Go to IO, and get a Extension ???? For example Non - O (marriage) Visa from (for example) Savannakhet. You will get 90 days when entering Thailand, after the 90 days are almost over go to Immigration and get another 60 days for Visiting your Wife (this works of course for when you are Married)
  5. +1 But keep an eye out if it is approved or not, don't assume that when you do the ONLINE report it's over and done with. I personally HAD NO luck using the Online 90 Day report it kept saying "pending". So keep checking and on the Due date just delete it from the 90 Day Report Online and go to the IO yourself.
  6. I think @DrJack54 meant with the comment Laughable, that what Hua Hin is doing is Laughable and IMHO was not directed at you. Hua Hin doing the following is certainly not how it is supposed to be, By any chance, do they mean by this NOT 90 Day report but your Address?
  7. Go to the Police and get a Police Report. You don't want someone (who found your Blue book) to start claiming it's their car. (How far fetched it sounds, but wouldn't surprise me that it happens, what are you going to do then?)
  8. 5555555555, another related car story and stickers Niece bought a new car, unfortunately it was the wrong colour (she wanted a Pink one (because she was born on a Tuesday) but the car manufacturer didn't offer that car in Pink (strangely enough ). What she did was went into a Sticker Shop and had a sticker made and she put it on the car, this car is Pink it said
  9. Good advice. I once entered via the Airport and the IO stamped my Multiple Entry Re-Entry Permit used. Found out immediately after leaving the desk. Took some effort at the airport and visits to multiple IO's to get it corrected.
  10. I think you are confusing 2 things. Internet and Tv. As said above Internet via Fiber terminates at your modem and then onwards (in your home) via Ethernet cable or Wireless. TV (via Satellite (TrueVisions)) comes in via Coax cable (from the Dish) and is then split to the outlets. In our house the splitter was on top of the ceiling and it then goes via normal coax cable (in the wall) to the outlets (3 of them we had, living room, bedroom 2 of them) edit: I know see you are using their boxes and not satellite ????
  11. Unfortunately Link: https://solar-image.com/ So at the moment I guess more expensive then your panels
  12. Handy tool yep but then again it will go out of sync again if they leave the country Just check your passport stamps and record the dates in the calendar in your Phone. They put a piece of paper with your NEXT reporting date and that date is what you need to put in your calendar together with the Date your extension is due (I have both on a 1 week before and again 2 days before Alert time)
  13. +1 And next time when leaving IO (or even the desk at the airport / land border) check the stamps / date and set the dates in your phone with a reminder / alarm (That's how I do it)
  14. 89 days from Nov 1st is 29th January. First extension starts AFAIK the 90 day report date. Edit: The 7 days "late"ended on the 5th so go tmrw and be apologetic etc etc and maybe they forgive you. I believe the max fine is 2k.
  15. That totally depends on the Immigration Office. Buriram resets the 90 day report then, but not all do that and I also believe that it is not the official guideline (to reset the 90 day report date). Personally I like it, but many others don't.
  16. Exactly. So if lost / stolen and NOT held by a lender easy to get a replacement by visiting Police get police report and with Police Report a visit to the DLT. In that case the Photocopy will help the police and the DLT (easier to fill in the forms / reports)
  17. You already asked that question in another thread here. Not happy with the answer just open another topic with the same question because not happy with the answer ????
  18. Tell him not save on the placement in the garage of them, we are using approx 5-10 of them as we had the same problem and so-far so good. there is also another kind, those are green ones and they are bigger then mothballs and say are especially for rats but I have been searching for them but still can not find them. edit found them https://www.lazada.co.th/products/hanshi-400g-i4101427380-s16030574609.htm
  19. I honestly sincerely doubt that it is possible. police report and with police report a visit to the DLT to get a new blue book
  20. Nice side earner for 300 THB hotel ????
  21. Yeah good tip was that someone made in the thread I linked, but We are doing something else we are using (and have attached to and placed inside the compressor) moth balls they seem to be doing the trick better then chaindrite. Why? Because when we used Chaindrite, after a few days we would see gecko excrement on and near the compressor again, but when using the above solution no excrement to be found. (And yes we have cleaned the area ???? We used them originally for our Garage to keep the rats away from our car but they seem do the trick with Geckos as well https://www.lazada.co.th/products/by129-i2730320145-s9894724251.html thx to @Rimmer for the tip in another thread
  22. Update: My wife received a phone call from an automated system (and unknown number) which said it was from the PEA. As we receive many of those calls and those are usually from spam calls my wife hung up on them. When she said PEA, I thought <deleted> why did you hung up. I tried calling back the number but all we got was “no acknowledgement from number etc etc” So I said call the PEA contact center, she did and they said the number is really a PEA number but is used for a satisfactory survey Maybe they are asking how was the visit from PEA recently. f….. me ps: they will call back, the contact center said
  23. You are lucky they only costs 1000 THB. For our Daikins they cost around 6k, and we were without Aircon for approx a week+. Same reason Gecko's fried the board. Fortunately it was still covered under warranty Edit: Found the Thread
