  1. While there were documented early concerns and a temporary increase in cannabis-related hospital visits following decriminalization in 2022, there are no publicly available reports showing totals in the hundreds or thousands per year in recent data. Severe cases appear to be relatively rare when compared to overall usage rates, which surveys suggest are in the millions. Most reported incidents involve mild intoxication and do not require hospital admission. For accurate and up-to-date figures, the Ministry of Public Health should be the primary source. This raises an important question: where do claims such as “cannabis-related hospitalizations rose by 90% annually” come from? Percentages without baseline numbers are misleading. A 90% increase from a base of 40 cases is statistically dramatic but practically insignificant. Making policy or industry-wide decisions based on such figures—without transparent, absolute data—would be irresponsible.
  2. Anyone who has suffered from psoriasis knows this explanation is complete bunk. 🤣
  3. The absolute gold standard to check the complete status of your heart is an angiogram!
  4. The economy is excellent if you are part of the asset ownership class. If you're not, the economy sucks. That says Wall Street and asset prices are disconnected from Main Street. Trump knows the state of the economy much better than you, that I can guarantee. https://usawatchdog.com/
  5. If you walk into Amphur without a Marriage Settlement Agreement in both Thai and English, you are likely to have a problem. You and your wife should get an attorney to write one to your mutual satisfaction. Doing so will negate any issues at the Amphur you will surely have without one.
  6. Like all Harris supporters - this is entirely delusional.
  7. If you and your wife agree on all settlement terms, fly to Thailand and do an uncontested divorce at the Amphur. Bring all your documents, get everything translated, and complete a Marital Settlement Agreement (pay an attorney to do it). You want an MSA because Amphur will use that instead of their standard documents, which take forever. Then, both can go to Ampur, register into the system, and proceed with the administrative divorce. To complete everything (because you don't have a Thai marriage) could take a week or two, but it is still far cheaper than hiring an attorney and processing a divorce in CA. If you choose to go the CA route, you can use her last residence for service, or if you can't find her (you must prove diligence to the court), you can serve by publishing in the local paper. I still think that administrative uncontested divorce in Thailand is less expensive and will be recognized in most states in the US.
  8. The record says they don't have your original record, and they recommend you go back to the hospital where your original hernia was repaired. It also shows your mesh has failed because they can manually palpate a soft mass, which confirms this. As another responder posted, mesh repairs can and do fail, although the incidence is low. Maybe you have been doing some heavy lifting. A hernia mesh is often considered a permanent device that can remain in place without replacement. However, if a hernia returns to the same area, the mesh may need to be replaced or a new one placed. It is not that difficult a procedure today. It can be done by either open repair or laparoscopic repair. I also had a repair 16 years ago, but it's still okay. However, I just got the other side fixed one week ago at my local government hospital using a laparoscopic technique. Excellent service and great price. Just get it fixed, mate—no big deal.
  9. Neither. My mortality is based on what I put in my mouth and how I choose to conduct my life.
  10. Woodworking! Building stuff and uplifting skills to make lovely things for home and friends eventually. Learning Japanese joinery techniques. Always something new to learn and try.

Go to any ENT specialist. Easy to diagnose and easy to fix. You can even do it yourself. Search some YouTube videos for Epley Maneuver. There is no evidence long Covid causes Vertigo. Total bull<deleted>. We aren't even sure what long Covid is.

There are a few Assisted Care Communities starting to gear up. Worth looking into. This one focuses on the elderly afflicted with Alzheimers or Parkinsons Disease: http://www.absolutelivingthailand.com/aboutus_th.php The website is in Thai, but you can translate the site in Google chrome. You could try using ChatGPT to find more similar resources.
