  1. What has Starmer got to do with it?
  2. Had this problem on the wife's car, transmission Bushing Suzuki CIAZ, would not change gear etc. I had a look saw the problem and bought the parts on Lazada (cost about 100baht) and fixed it myself. Very easy and I assure you I am not good at these DIY projects. So stop worrying, find your car, get someone who can translate for you and confirm the problem. It should be very easy and cheap to fix, but being at a Suzuki dealer they may want to max the price.
  3. are you new to Thailand? Plus talking bad about Thais and talking good about Cambodia while in Thailand is not a great idea.
  4. If he is so stupid to say bad things about Thailand and say good things about Cambodia after the recent war then he deserves what he gets.
  5. In the original video, when being escorted off the train he starts chanting USA USA USA
  6. Has a lot to learn, complaining about Thailand and singing the praises of Cambodia while in Thailand, no wonder the Thai men got in there to punch the hell out of him, to be honest he got off lightly. Has a Thai wife, wonder what she thinks of him
  7. As Stocky said it is a quite town in many ways but for those that live here that is what we like, away from the tourist hot spots, great beaches, diving, plenty of durian as the province grows a lot for export. If you are looking for nightlife this is not the place for it, very limited. At the moment there is a lot of tourists here, mainly out at the beaches, but when I say a lot 30 to 100 is a lot here. You do need a car for here as there are no taxi If you are looking for somewhere new to explore then check out Songkhla province and stay in old town Songkhla.
  8. what has happen to America? When will the people wake up and say enough is enough? The world no longer has respect for America

  12. Have used orthotics for 50 plus years for my flat feet, been a great help. May be not the answer for everyone. Am looking for a professional to look at my 6year olds feet and then will see what we do from there. Thank you for the info an the link.
  13. Chumphon, Am looking for a professional who knows what they are talking about for my 6 year old daughter. I do not want surgical solutions, more arch support. I have flat feet so know what it is like and I use inserts in my shoes and choose good quality trainers that give support, if I was in England I would know who to see, here in Thailand I have only found orthopaedic doctors, I would prefer a podiatrist.
  14. agree with what you say about collecting of data
  15. Anyone know of a podiatrist clinic in Thailand for flat feet?
  16. when you look at the number of deaths for motorbike riders, it offers a different perspective and would challenge that it is safer to ride a bike in Thailand. In 2023, 6,335 motorcyclists were killed in the United States, marking the highest number of fatalities since record-keeping began in 1975 and representing 15% of all traffic deaths that year. The Thai Health Promotion Foundation states that, on average, about 70 people die each day as a result of road accidents in Thailand, with 74% being motorbike riders and passengers. Of the 20,000 people killed on roads each year in Thailand, 15,000 of them are motorcyclists, accounting for three out of four fatalities. Aug 31, 2025 Interesting bit on deaths in hospital In Thailand, when a person dies in a hospital following a road accident, the official cause of death (COD) listed is the specific medical condition or injury that initiated the sequence of morbid events leading to death, such as "craniocerebral injury" or "blunt force trauma". The death is also classified as a road traffic death if it occurs within 30 days of the accident.
  17. If you do not have the following< 1) a motor bike licence from your own country 2) a International licence to cover you overseas 3) if you have a motor bike licence from your own country but did not get the International licence to cover you while overseas Then the Insurance will not pay out. We know that many tourists arrive and hire a bike without a licence then expect the insurance to pay out if in an accident. We all know Insurance companies are there to make a profit and to dispute any claim in anyway they can so they do not need to pay out.
  18. will the Venezuelans now move back? Or will trump start deporting them?
  19. The railway project from BKK to Surat Thani, there are so many new stations which are very large, many buildings and in the middle of nowhere, the buildings do not appear to be used, just empty. Makes you wonder why they are built. A few thoughts come to mind in the form of payments.
  20. That is all the world needs now, another war. What's next? Greenland? Canada? Iran?
  21. Begum also holds Bangladeshi citizenship through her parents, she can move to Bangladeshi.
  22. thank you for confirming it was not a peaceful protest, you are correct that it is good to have video evidence which you kindly provided.
  23. storming the government buildings, attacking police, smashing windows etc Is that a peaceful protest?
  24. Tina Peters another entitled person who thinks they are above the law, it was proven that she broke the law and was found guilty, plus showed no remorse at trail. trump is annoyed that he cannot legally give her a pardon as the charges are state
