Ryanair Drops $33B Bombshell on Boeing Over Trump's Tariffs
stupidfarang replied to BLMFem's topic in Political Soapbox
I think you will loose that bet, O’Leary likes to bluff and is very good at getting free publicity for the airline. Yet he would not hesitate to buy from China if his airline is threaten, plus China is known for wanting to compete with boeing and airbus and they have the capability to do so with fast production. Look at their rail projects, ev-cars, space craft, Ai, super computers, etc.. They are a manufacturing giant in all most everything. -
Just be careful as snakes can move very fast. You do not want to be bitten by a cobra. I have caught a few snakes with a 2.5m pole and lasso and release them back into the wild, cobra's included.

Report IKEA Goes Cashless at Key Thai Stores Amid Mixed Reactions
stupidfarang replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
With covid, it pushed many people to cashless payment. Payment via card or phone is becoming more common the world over, it is also in the interest of the business as banks charge companies for handling cash when paid by the company into their own account. I recall the bank use to charge me for the deposit slip as well as the cash I deposited into the account. I am very happy to accept cashless payments as I save a lot in fees. Also happy to take cash, best to offer all ways to pay. -
I want to be a YouTuber !!! Ideas please
stupidfarang replied to georgegeorgia's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
maybe not for you, after watching the many videos about being a youtuber you still do not know if you can use a mobile to make videos for youtube. Heads up you can. Goonzquad are two american brothers who repair cars and they film using iphones, over 2.7m followers just on youtube, and have become millionaires. -
yes please start on Tesla and musk, then look at the insider trading that happen in the whitehouse yesterday.

Then you do not understand the Chinese economy. Yes China debt is very high but the debt is differant fron the USA. China debt is mostly domestic, banks, local goverments property market and based on the Yuan(china mostly borrows in Yuan) and can be controlled by the goverment decisions are fast unlike usa who have trouble passing budgets. USA debt is dollar based and part of the global system, if yields spike, debt service costs go up, treasury demand drops the dollar slides. Need to look at what the debt is funding as well for both countries. USA debt is war, tax cuts for the rich, stock buybacks and social debt. China is infrastructure, industrial, R&D and property market

Black Bag, excellent spy movie, Cate Blanchett and Michael Fassbender star in Steven Soderbergh's film -
watched the video, he was saying if, if, if, if. He is guessing what may happen and what trump may do. trump changes daily and it is hard to predict what he will do, apart from if you say no to him, disagree with him then he will react against you as he has done with China today with adding another 50% on. China will not back down and with comments from vance "We borrow money from Chinese peasants to buy the things those Chinese peasants manufacture," will not help. China and the USA need each other and there will be alot of pain for both before things settle down.

I went with Viber, as I was calling a bank in the UK I need something to replace Skype. Viber was excellent, good connection from my mobile. I took the Euro 1.97 package for 100minutes, only thing is the 1.97 is a monthly charge which is cheap but I only call landlines (banks, Goverment Tax office etc) around 3 or 4 times a year. You can pause the subscription plan for 3 months and can do that 3 times in a year. I will check out MyTel and also the 003 Asis number but I think it may be a higher price compared to the other apps. Thank you to everyone for their input on the subject, very helpful

What part of Thailand are you in? Here in the South there is a local goverment office that teach about Bees to locals. They will come out and remove bees so I suggest if you have a Thai partner they ask at the local goverment office for contact details.
