If you also look at what can happen when you have the measles, potential blindness, vomiting, potential brain damage etc.. You may say side effects and deaths were low, I do not know the numbers. The question is, what would you choose for your child, vaccine or take a chance? The vaccine has been around since the early 60s, used world wide, that in it self is a good safety studies in it self aside from the original safety tests.
