Thai Fishermen Save Woman Floating in Sea for Six Hours
stupidfarang replied to snoop1130's topic in Krabi News
what is a "wp" -
Once you have worked out a price, list it on the Thai property for sale groups on Facebook, also consider running an advert on Facebook and Instagram, you can spend around $2 a day and reach a vast audience. You would need to run the ad for about 3 weeks to get the best results from FB. This way you may reach also a expat audience.

You say your wife wants everything else and you take the kid, I suggest you do not sign or give anything over until you have the kids thai passport, birth cert, and anyother papers the mum/wife needs to sign so you can take your daughter out of Thailand, it is a game of chess and you need to be smart in your moves. Wishing you all the best

Leaving on the USA passport may create a problem at immigration as the computer system will not have a record of the USA passport coming into Thailand. This happen to me in Australia when our son was born there and we left on a UK passport obtained in Australia when he was born. The system did not have a record of the passport coming into the country, luckly immigration understood but told us not to use the passport coming back into Australia. This was 28 years ago, things change but you do not want any problems at all so get her Thai passport. Be civil with the wife, no fighting until after you get back to the USA.

That is true about the number of strawberry pickers in NY, what will hit the USA consumer is the people not turning up for work on the farms, this will push up the price of food which you pay for, so will you be happy? I agree that immigration needs to be sorted, illegals sorted as well. A more structured way would be better, maybe guarantee work for the farms, get them documented? Already it is having and affect. Fear of deportation has led to a sharp drop in farm worker attendance across California's agricultural heartland, leaving crops unharvested following U.S. President Donald Trump's immigration crackdown, local news outlets have reported. The immediate impact is evident in Kern County, one of the nation's most productive agricultural regions. Over the last two weeks, growers have seen sharp declines in their workforce attendance, which they attribute to heightened immigration crackdowns. Citrus grower and former Kern County Farm Bureau president, Peter Belluomini, reported that his usual harvest crew dropped from 30 workers to just five, saying many were "hiding at home" out of fear.

Reinstall image using the Paragon software.
stupidfarang replied to John Smith 777's topic in Phuket
google for info< I do have Paragon and use it for back up but had no need to install from it. Try this In general, a system imaging utility such as Paragon will include a facility for making & booting from a USB and it is that USB that controls image restoration. Your user manual ought to explain this Paragon Hard Disk Manager - Resources page If I was only just starting to use system imaging, I'd choose Macrium Reflect [free version]. So many forum members use it that you'll always be able to get advice about it. -

Dutch national arrested in Bangkok for US$55,000 gold scam
stupidfarang replied to snoop1130's topic in Bangkok News

As a first time user, you get a one off better exchange rate that applys upto £1,000 in a transaction, any amount over that goes on their standard exchange rate on the day. Also becareful as my thai bank made a charge on the transaction unlike when I send via Wise they dont. I think this may be becaause Wise sends in baht to the bank.

"Initially, police attempted to escort the man back to his room." Half naked and with a knife, is this not enough to warrent being held in jail to see if he is more of a threat?

Maybe look at buying a condo outside of Pattaya, also look for Bank repossession condos, can buy cheaper but it is a journey in itself. 20,000 bhat a month is not much money and if you drink then it will not last. Maybe look at a non tourist city to live in.
