If a hi-so takes a foreigner to court over some minor issue that may have offended the person.....the foreigner will not win. This case is an example....and Mr Swiss will not be allowed to win!

Ok...so important people, senator/s maybe, have had their names and signatures forged.....of course they have!

Obviously local elected officials knew of this as it was being built and as usual, did nothing! They know the developer....they obviously allowed this to proceed and should be bought to account......but of course, a few complaining locals mean nothing....maybe with pressure, local MP Sawangchit Laoharojanaphan, might do something. Loading this much fill on to what is almost classed as swamp land, creates massive issues and will in effect, compress the land are raise water levels...which seems to be happening.

The investigative circle will come up with deceit, fraud, corruption, forgery, bribery....and probably a few more crooked dealings....but will a big name be involved?

Riding a scooter in Soi 6....in the middle of Songkran...and expecting not to be soaked? Victim blaming?

And we all wonder why the drivers can't see parked trucks on the side of the road!

Bingo!! Big win for the cops! Wonder if they'll share any of it?

Almost 20 years here....heard this exact same waffle every year at Songkran and New Years.....almost word for word.....the results: usually an increase in fatalities and injuries. Smart people probably, would now start to think these strategies don't work......

Hats off to these search and rescue guys....they're doing a fantastic job in an extremely dangerous and grisly site. I hope they get rewarded and appreciated properly for their work!

The money all gets stolen.....many government projects are the same... The building that suffered serious damage in BKK, included several government buildings!

I haven't heard of refusals of assistance.....could you please explain that? I"ve been past the site a few times and it's really busy....the removal of rubble is slow work....picking off heavy concrete elements is difficult and there's always the danger of creating slips.
