The 711 stores here are amazing how they work so darn well....the staff are great and know everything. Japan has been mentioned as having better stores....and they are good....200ml of beautiful Japanese whiskey always available! -

There are thousands of trucks coming from the south towards BKK, with timber for charcoal production. Talk about living in a smoke screen environment...this cooking method is ancient....it really should be stopped: "Grilling with charcoal is associated with an increased cancer risk." -

Staggering that the Thai lottery, which is likely the biggest scam ever in the country... so profitable in this country where gambling in outlawed.....the government virtually force by stealth, millions of poor to waste their money.....usually those that can least afford it. Where do the takings go? My guess would be primarily to the military and their mates....however, the Govt Lottery site claims 60% winnings...then revenue and costs -

As mentioned in earlier posts...this treatment toward Thais is quite usual. I've been in line at immigration and there are people scanning arrivals and picking out suspect people. Most young women..and men. Illegal workers and hookers are the main targets.... -
