No-one can prevent a drought....they just happen. Water management has never bee Thailand' forte....they're hopeless at that. Spend millions on supposedly "great" water saving and retention projects...corruption takes hold and nothing really happens.

Water management incompetence is a national trait....where ever you go, the same issues arise almost every year. They really have no idea what they're doing.

As mentioned in earlier posts...this treatment toward Thais is quite usual. I've been in line at immigration and there are people scanning arrivals and picking out suspect people. Most young women..and men. Illegal workers and hookers are the main targets....

Once the denials start to gain momentum, there's a good chance of a guilty plea! Big Joke is no different from any other big name cop

All minor offences that probably only warrant a few thousand in fines. The real offences were silenced probably, with some funding donated for the governors annual ball!
