I travel to BKK regularly from Petchaburi region, and this incident has often been on my mind as happening at some time. This is not the first incident of concrete elements falling from this huge site. I travel in the far left lane, scary sometimes with all the lunatic trucks, almost always while passing through this 20 Km area….

Cayote girls at weddings and funerals etc….but a bikini girl selling what must be, sacred durians, is definitely not on! Such a fragile people here!

Just a simple look at the ID plate is enough…..even better, take the car to a Mazda dealer while on the test drive….a 2 minute hook up will identify the vehicle.

This is close to Bangkok…..the few times I have been there, it’s been strewn with trash ….anyway, Songkran generates tons of trash everywhere.

Nowhere is the same as 20 years ago….Thailand still, for me at least, offers an easy lifestyle..it’s still quite cheap..rental homes and apartments are plentiful everywhere..houses are cheap to build..the medical system is very good (choose carefully)..to name a few...

One day they’ll admit that Thais cannot drive very well!…They can make a car go, but that’s about all! They won’t even turn the steering wheel properly to navigate a corner….

More unbelievable rubbish from the RTP…And army!

IMO, Thais driving ability has deteriorated over the past few years….the aggression has definitely increased, the ease at which drivers “lose” it here is crazy….brake checking, swerving and stopping mid traffic to argue or worse. That the police are useless, makes for absolute lawlessness on Thailand’s roads. These holidays will see hundreds killed….hundreds injured and maimed and all the travelling public get, are road blocks to scam a few baht!

Great for Thailand’ reputation! Junta folk stick together….

This’ll be interesting…..Thailand happy to send errant Chinese back….but does it work both ways? We hope so….

If nothing else….it’s a great wet t-shirt event!
