A new order is slowly starting in the EU and the American to shun business with Russia and China.....IMO, it's a good move and designed to move business away from relying on these powers for trade. Asian nations will eventually follow suit...Thailand will have some serious decisions to make and I don't believe the authorities here will have a grasp on this for some time.

IMO, with 90+ deaths from Covid just reported for yesterday......there is something going very wrong here. The BP has reported this morning, that BKK medical facilities cannot cope with covid cases, and are asking surrounding regions to take the overflow of patients. Is the reported 25K cases each day anywhere near close to the real figure? We do know they don't include RAT test +ives, in the count. Should tourists be encouraged to visit the country if Covid is out of control, as the BP suggested?

Southeast Insurance owes Thb 13 billion? The CEO should be dragged off to the courts! Staggering that these companies will just walk away....not a care for what the OIC says...and there will very likely be next to nothing done. IMO, the Thailand Pass is really all about money...nothing what so ever to do about protecting anyone from Covid. The no test prior to traveling to Thailand, is a deterrrent....who knows what result we might get now...a -ive turns into a 7 day stay at cost! With so much Covid now in the community..it's a farce to have any rules really.

Continuing any relationship with Russia could have serious implications in the near future. If this war expands, which hopefully won't happen, the neutral stance won't hold water!

Planning to go out for 2 weeks in April...still need ThaiPass....and what a crock that is! It needs to be the first thing to get rid of....it serves little purpose at all!
