    This issue in almost at the point of normal. Thousands of flights cancelled at a moments notice and refunds taking up to 3 months! You need spare money nowadays to travel long an/or multi port flights....money to get clothes when the bag doesn't arrive...for extra flights and hotels.

    Corruption in the military is likely endemic...and often renders an army poorly situated in a conflict. Russian military today is an example of high levels of corruption. That country has untold thousands (?) of ghost soldiers...all drawing salaries for their leaders...does Thailand have the same issues?

    "People appear to have easy access to unregistered firearms" There's no "appearance" issue.....guns are easy to get... With an estimated 10 million unregistered weapons here....it's obvious that getting ones hands on a gun is not hard. Many come from Cambodia....30--50K would get one.

    My understanding is that kids may use a motorcycle if the is no other forms of transport available. Of course, this permission is abused to the extent, kids in Thailand ride all the time....and never have an issue. There was a promotion some time back whereby the cops distributed helmets to kids.....of course, they were never used!

    This is a great street...Chinatown is a favorite for me. Now the MRT goes to the heart of this area...makes it even more appealing!

    Not exactly correct. An autopsy will have to be carried out to determine the cause of death..mandatory for all foreign deaths in Thailand, excepting for death in hospital....blood will be tested.

    Has the property now sold? Why haven't we heard anything more about this tragic case.....? I guess like most similar tragedies, something will come into the news in a year or so..... Thailand is so lacking in clever, investigative journalists.......what we see here is very poor quality news reporting!

    There's solar farms all over the country....there are 3 just outside Cha Am...I guess you don't get out into the country much?

    Unbelievable in 2022 that this sh*t happens still! I just don't understand the project management people never doing anything about the appalling mess that happens all the time! Cha Am is have drainage installed in the main access road to the beach. Again.....it's a disgusting and dangerous mess that's being made and each day is the same...no-one gives a fig!
