  1. Got 1st class insurance on my 8 year old Pick up for B150,000 value for B7500 per year but several insurance firms did not want to insre a car more than 7 years old I was told

If you have 1st class Insurance, let us know what they are saying.

If you do not, get a lawyer asap, as the guilty part should have paid, or be in jail after +2 weeks.

selling your car? sure, after they have paid you for everything

Make sure to remain friends with your witness

    Hi and thanks,

I do not have first class insurance as my car is already 12 years old. It seems that my insurance don't give a flying shit, I send my wife to them and all they said was that they would pay the hospital bill.

The joke at the police station was that the (young cop) just made a statement that the guilty driver, ( a weird Kathoey) was driving too fast and I'm the innocent guy. But fact is that he made a red light and drove too fast.

I still need to see another hospital, as my injuries are really dangerous. So you think a lawyer is a must? Thank you for your opinion, as I'm not in the mood to fight for my rights...Cheers jap.gif

I've just found out that I'm obviously having the same fukcing insurance company, my opponent has got. The driver wasn't the owner and they've got class A ,...his car is already fixed, which is very unbelievable to me. Looks pretty much that a foreigners car and his health isn't that important to others in the LOS....jap.gif

I think you've got enough answers to know what you should have/should do by now, you need backup.. I understand you were injured so the delay but now you must muster up the energy. And BTW you should look around next time for insurance as there are companies that will give you increased coverage on a truck that age in terms of property liability and personal injury but with no coverage for your vehicle. The limit is 15 years on this coverage but if you're already covered before the car is that old you will be grandfathered in until it is sold..

I hope you feel better soon, that's a nasty accident you suffered, good thing it wasn't on your side or this would likely all be a moot point and a blessing you were not carrying a passenger. Get a lawyer to take care of the truck and yourself while you take care of #1...

  2. What about Ford Fiesta & Mazda 2(Same car made in same plant) and better looking in my opinion than the Honda

Before it was the Tsunami--could not order a new Honda Brio, wait list--tried again today --Udon Thani--sorry order for next year.

Tried for the other car that compares-Nissan March...Udon Thani,,,as Honda--the car here is not for sale only for show--Ha......asked when I could get a March she said Maybe a month or so. You have to order, Does anyone know of a company that has stocks of 1.2 engine cars, available to buy ( seemingly Honda and Nissan are the only 2 companies in this market)...............I do not want the Jazz-Suzuki-Vios...as they are 1.6 cc...any help from your areas--stocks of March--or Brio ????

  3. I wonder where the USA will borrow the money from to do this........Gosh what part of "broke" does the USA not understand? With something like 14 trillion dollars in debt they still dig a deeper hole. Do not take me wrong.....its a great thing to help in this case but the USA is broke and they need to understand this and stop spending money they do not have.annoyed.gif

  4. I have been down the USA visa deal and had success after a bit of problem but with knowing her 6 months my guess is come back in 3 or 4 years for that Visa, Keep records of being together such as photos that show you together in different places,if you rent a condo have that contract in both names, xmas cards that your family sends addressed to both of you, if you travel together to Singapore or some place passports showing travel abroad together are helpful, etc. What the USA Embassy told me many years ago. We are not here to judge your moral's so marriage is not a big deal. We are looking for proof of a long term continuous relationship with proof she will be returning to Thailand. Marriage can help prove that but it is not a major part. If you get rejected it makes it harder the second time so while nothing is impossible it would be much better to wait several years on that visa.

  5. We go to Ikea on a regular basis in the middle east. I can tell you its not all the best quality and its not all bad quality. While nothing is really cheap and some items are high priced there are some items that have both good quality and fair prices. Where Ikea is best at is the fact they have such a great collection and simple instructions to put together. I mean they will have 4 different sizes of dining room tables with 69 styles in 4 different colors per size. They also have lots of neat ideas for shelves, computer tables, etc. In the end buyer beware but I think Ikea will do well in Thailand.

  6. I think you have to consider what income you have in the USA now and what it cost to live in the USA. If you have say $3000 a month income in USA now but it takes $2500 to live you would be better off coming to Thailand on that $1400 a month. In my opinion US$1400 a month in Thailand is like $4000 a month in the USA. Also do you have a skill that perhaps you could get a job in Thailand?

  7. Gosh do they think they can compete with DTV and IPM TV for normal Thai's?

Also their price appears to be in the TrueVision range and thats has proven to be too high a price. Most Truevision dishs you see are FREEVIEW packages.

Also there are gray market guys selling Vietnam Sat TV with a few HD channels for like B600 a month and lots of HD channels for less than B800 per month. Do these guys really think they can compete........looks like the planned viewers are about 10 times more than they will have to me.
