  1. I have seen them do both approaches. They can pick up prospective buyers and drive them around to view several properties, or meet them at a specific property. In the latter case a few viewings may take place over a some hours. In both cases women agents on their own are likely at risk. I recall one coming to a house near me had my tongue hanging out as she was absolutely stunning!
  2. Sounds like the perfect neighbour, minding his own. And yet some busybody still reported him. I would swap my neighbours and their dogs gladly!
  3. I have one in my house and have not used it in near 20 years, I expect the water would be cold by the time I filled it.
  4. So backed up by nothing specific to food sellers! We could be talking about guys who drive the Pattaya to Ekamai buses!
  5. Yes we made that joke too!
  6. Sort of goes without saying really! So beware of driving down North Rd on Saturday morning, because you can't!
  7. I think they have potential and ambitions, that is how the Colonel got started.... a cart and the odd fight! (There are Thai government figures on cart food sellers here? I struggle to believe that!)
  8. I believe Oz Post has a bad reputation too. I received a Christmas card from Adelaide late June last year. Obviously this years not seen yet!!!
  9. Fill your plate then tip your head back like a pelican I guess.
  10. Seems to happen often and particularly this time of year, they usually catch up soon in the New Year. I did send the Mrs to 'go ask' once and she went to our PO in Sawang Fah, Naklua. Mail turned up a few days after.
  11. Sadly I expect he is in a minority!
  12. Yes, I got ones for the truck from Lazada that were not bad, although the sun seems to break many down given time.
  13. Police officers are not subject to the law here, they are above it!
  14. Glad the place that sold me the hair growing lotion is the real thing though! I look and smell like a coconut!
  15. That pleasant placid Thai nature is on the wane...... they are beeping their horns more too!
  16. Another whoosh moment in your life. Pee also means sister. Ploy means gemstone I believe.
  17. The guys have carts full of fried chicken and have time to get distracted over other issues, than to get on with work. How on earth would you know they are 'struggling to feed their families'? Another load of nonsense from a woke one!

    Big one in Naklua.... https://maps.app.goo.gl/nCnQe31A9Vp3czHf6
  19. Just highlights it isn't always the Brits, the locals can get into it too. So much greed around in peak season.
  20. Moreso petty thievery to help with obtaining more drugs, addicts will do anything. General thievery, shoplifting, muggings etc. Ooops there goes another phone or e-bike. They are minimal, as I said I am less concerned about cannabis, moreso the harder drugs. Disagree all you want, but pointing elsewhere is a ''it was him ' argument. We can look at alcohol to say this is what can happen with other addictive drugs. But it is socially ingrained now.
  21. Bought some for 38.000 baht in a little hut like shop in Pattaya only the other day. No result yet, but ever optimistic!
  22. I suspect the victims in this case are mostly Thais.....selling ferry tickets that should be 30 baht for 100 baht to foreign tourists has long been an approved Thai only position.
