  1. Sounds like a battle of the dependents....... she should ban them both from the kitchen and all those weapons in there.

I didn't say I was.... I did a visit some months back, and it seemed all about making money. It also was a bit, well, looking likely to kick off! No, afraid not for me, perhaps aimed at a younger crowd.
  3. And one on a pedestrian bridge of all places, walking!
  4. Yes, people forget there are 3 at the last count!
  5. Yes, better prices than Central too. Still remember when Central opened and me and Mrs went to the food court, she complained way back then it was overpriced! Not eaten in there since.......

Or those who cannot afford Soi 6?
  7. Ten minutes off the plane and doesn't the rip-off start with the taxi mafia?
  8. Same woman, another attempt only a few days later. She didn't get much help then!
  9. This blurring is getting out of hand! Too many times I am presented with a 2 minute video that is simply completely blurred like watching life through steamed up goggles. It's a waste of time!
  10. Compensation to the Som Tam cart owner, another 200-300 baht!
  11. We have had a a few cases of bodies in suitcases being dragged out of condos and hotels over the years. Is this one murderer who has so far gotten away with it?
  12. Other way around for me, live North of town so places South of Klang are too much effort. My recent needs to go down Pattaya Tai did my head in!
  13. Likely one of the few places you could eat without getting sick!
  14. Moved from one traffic heavy area to an even busier one!
  15. I must admit that my thoughts were that the underpass is rather a long way back from Homepro, and he would have exited there on the right side of where the roads come together. Trucks trying to get into large store car parks, parked across 2 lanes of a main highway is the issue. There was a problem years ago, on the other side of Pattaya, to the South, where many similar accidents occurred. It may well have been Macro, certainly near to it. In the end a U-Turn was closed and then moved to the South. I have found getting into Homepro to be less than easy, as usually vehicles park just before the entrance... that should not be permitted.
  16. Yes, my thoughts too..... I wouldn't bother going out at 3am to pick a friend up, never mind something easily done later like getting fuel!
  17. Sorry dear, but driving drunk is indefensible and I doubt the Som Tam cart guy was deliberately looking for someone to run into.
  18. I gave them a made up one...... they told me it is necessary to facilitate returns if needed. I would worry more about Lazada and Shopee, they got email and phone number, from the seller right through to the delivery driver.
  19. As you and I are...... it is a form of social interaction though.
  20. I am not too impressed with the truck being parked across a couple of lanes of traffic either.
  21. It looks like we mean 02.30 here. Been a lot of such incidents of late. I think this is a bit of road I use quite often... ever since a U-Turn on Hwy 36 was closed off. Head down towards Bangkok to the next underpass to come back... then pass the toll booths where the coachload of Russians careered into an SUV. You can mark most junctions, U turns and corners etc with recent accidents these days!
  22. But sadly in the wrong country if you expect laws to be obeyed or even policed...... ignored seems to fit better.
  23. Oh they do the roads too.... just up from there in front of the station, some policing is going on!
  24. Actually in that case you have got hold of the wrong end of the stick. Someone else posted that incident as being trivial, I thought it newsworthy and replied so. Pattaya being a small town with a limited number of such events... and relevant to foreigners too.
