  1. From what I saw construction wise on Jomtien Beach Rd yesterday it wouldn't be a place to stay on my list. Dust everywhere.
  2. Roasted with the Christmas turkey or chicken was always my favourite. I expect an air fryer would do similar. There, that's my seasonal comment.
  3. We are getting close to pre-Covid (2019) numbers for the first time since it all ended. Flight bookings tell us more to come! Some guys have been waiting since then!
  4. Are we still allowed to make complementary comments on superb pointing in these news reports?
  5. For heavens sake, just go pick him up before he pawns it
  6. Street lights not working..... an old story. There's a dark dangerous stretch on Hwy 36 often too..... should not be the case on such a major road.
  7. Jomtien 2nd Rd . near Rhompo market at 9.40 pm not a place for much speed. Surprised Jomtien has so many tourists, took a drive down the Beach Rd yesterday, what an absolute horrific mess.... be better of in Beirut!
  8. Sorry, can't help with that!
  9. For Pattaya and changing cash, it usually is and we are in the Pattaya Forum. Another option may be try Damini Co Lt on Soi Post Office.
  10. I somehow do not think you are in a vegetarian thread and have lost your way.
  11. Simply look here. (TT Exchange)
  12. Yes, like HIV won't but it can help you along. It is no worse than alcohol of course, but didn't work for this couple. Darned drug sellers poisoning people and administering drugs without qualification or care.
  13. Not sure if that is the law here... it may well qualify for a different offence.
  14. Exactly right...... and very much so on Hwy 36 where the traffic is fast and heavy a lot of the time, and making a u-Turn is obligated... add to that a few unofficial U-Turn points.
  15. Although i have eaten with some owners dogs wandering in and out of my ankles under the table quite often.... could be worse I suppose!
  16. Usually I would attend for one of the 2 nights, and stay overnight in a central hotel.... arriving there mid afternoon (driving in), and off after breakfast the next morning. The vehicle not being used in town. If you are fit enough for bit of Walking it isn't so bad. Had some good evenings in a bar after the fireworks ended, letting the traffic mayhem subside, sometimes getting entertainment watching it.
  17. Are you being ironic? I ask as your comment itself could not be more wrong..... you did say the baht buses stop (usually in the middle of the road and wherever they want to), so of course they hold up traffic. As do delivery trucks for the 7-11, people parking while they go get some noodles...samlors looking for a place to set up. It is what we expect on Buakhao and is Thailand! Might be time the congestion issue was addressed, in the meantime, planning permission for a another mega condo project can be dealt with.
  18. More of the same this weekend with the Fireworks!
  19. Oh I don't know, premeditated enough to bring a gun out with him!
  20. Not now it isn't. That location is being gutted for a new steakhouse.
  21. Yeah, I got one too. It's getting a bit tatty and I have to look at it to remember when I last entered Thailand, for 90 day reports!
  22. Restocking local supplies of Blini and Borscht.
  23. Isn't there still one at Big-CX, at the Northern corner behind the car park? \https://maps.app.goo.gl/zJ1SBiJegdq27dZeA
