  1. Not filming of people without permission. The truth is not much appreciated here. I expect questioning a street worker as to it's gender just got a bit risky.
  2. Proper little soap opera going on there.
  3. There is no free filtered drinking water now, that should deter the Nirun crowd. Nor a sink to wash your hands. The amusements and kids play area are making a horrendous irritating racket too. There was food on the table as my friend had bought some pumpkin meal, and I had something from the Big-C bakery. Far too bloody cold in there.
  4. Used to live 3 or 4 houses down from a guy who kept fighting cocks. What a pain in the arsX that was.
  5. Typical, a topic about the Thai Passport renewal office in Pattaya, now contains more posts about renewing British passports!
  6. Most of what I mentioned was relating to the food court, I will be in there for an hour or so later. Hope it isn't as cold as last week.
  7. It worked, free water is a rare thing nowadays, and idiots walk around sucking on bottles like newborns.
  8. The ice making machines have gone, the skin clinic went upstairs, Amazon coffee went outside for a spell, the place I get my coffee is in a different location most every week. The doors from the car park have moved. They are fitting a new ceiling, toilets have been renovated. New layouts for new food selling businesses going in. It seems to be an exercise in maximizing floor space usage, like the shopping place upstairs, but there is not enough space for foot traffic, especially when pushing a cart.
  9. Tend to agree, both the crane arcade machines and the small play area... even early on before they get going the shop owners kids are running amok in there.
  10. Perhaps the type of 'customer service administrators' that call you and say they work for Microsoft and have detected problems on your computer.
  11. I didn't think they were. It mentions passport renewals, nothing to do with immigration.
  12. Cold too, I wonder if exposure is a danger too.
  13. Well yes, if caught on overstay that is what happens. They get blacklisted for a minimum of 5 years. They can also be held in detention until they come up with the overstay fine and flight ticket.
  14. It would have been a paradise to them back then too!
  15. I do my shopping there one day a week, and afterwards take a coffee and chat with a couple of guys. The ones I talk to live nearby and say they come there every morning. I guess it saves on AC when it is warm. Around midday it gets packed with Thais eating, well at least at weekend it does. Not as crowded as the Pork Blood Soup restaurant a bit further down Klang. I am surprised you say not much has changed though, I feel lost each time I go in there with all the renovation and relocations.
  16. Yes, I am of a similar ilk, I might expand on their vocabulary too!
  17. This time try a different approach, stop him leaving by locking him up!
  18. It appears to have been removed now.
  19. Probably. I heard few helicopters go over and that often means someone has paid us a visit. The traffic stops are not as frequent as they used to be some years ago.

The press do not give them that reputation.....they generate it themselves by the behavior of a feral group of them that hang around tourist areas.
