Well not much else to do that night as all the bars were closed and alcohol sales not permitted. I must admit the sound of 20 of them in a gang sounds rather daunting, more used to them in manageable groups of 2 or 3, Is it an idiotic question to ask where were the police to protect the image of Pattaya?

Inclined to think countries can make up their own rules and laws (without impacting peoples rights), and scofflaw foreigners should mind their own business.

Seeing as the requirements could be much higher, I would expect the cost to bypass/ignore, get around them, ie facilitation costs, to also increase! Certainly do not expect that money spinner to go anywhere! Surachate Hakparn, tried to quell this years go and got moved to an inactive post!

Never can be, locals can't be punished the same, ie deported. Some laws in themselves are foreigner specific..... Then there is the xenophobia we get here.
