    I was told this was exacerbated by workers on the roof installing solar panels... and presumably subsequent rains. The escalator going under it was closed for a while, which was a pain in itself, but got reopened about 10 or so days ago. I will take an umbrella!

    Many years ago I recall being dumped by a minivan on North Rd, me and all the other passengers, who had been giving the driver a hard time over his driving (he got lost) and vehicle problems. Don't expect much customer service from them.

    Years ago I used to watch a beach chair vendor clean up his patch, collecting all the rubbish as the sun set and tossing it into the sea where the tide took it away from his area.... anyone guess his nationality.

    They used to sit in the Lek Hotel lobby enjoying the AC and TV years ago. Nowadays, I suspect their phones are involved.

    Might the gym have asked to see his passport at some point? I have often felt hotel reception (for eg) check such status, as there might be a little kickback from immigration if they report an overstayer.

    I only hope they re-evaluate the use of compressed gasses, at least ensuring a safe installation that has not been modified and gets checked and inspected regularly. Oh who do I kid... inspections count for little here.

    Yes we see that comment a lot... and if it works out it is the best result for both parties. Reality is, bars are well wise to this and the bar will not let them remain there without a purchase of an LD. Then she has to get up to go dance in a GGB!🥲

    Don't see what the fuss is about.... there are plenty of bars in Pattaya employing girls that look pretty much the same!

    I had one who was wound up o breaking point and all he did was complain about Pattaya mafia grinding him down to a low price for a fare.....me! I suffered and the guy refused to use toll roads and drove like a crazy man!

    I have been in Thailand quite a number of years and this amount of rain is how I remember it always was many years ago.....less rain being more a thing in recent years. Not ridden my motorcycle with my feet up for a while!

    The guy who empties the tank also did a good job of unblocking one of my toilets. I think it has rather a sharp bend and solids stick in it .. so it's a pee only bog now. The tank getting full due to a lot of rain (or overuse) is also possible, but easily proven by taking the cap off.
